Just a few warnings for this chapter: Someone has a panic attack, but it's not incredibly detailed, talk of the great dirt nap, and some threats (mostly joking, lolz).

Enjoy!!!

James blinked in surprise.

"Who is this little guy?" Sirius examined the little black cat before him.

The kitten had small white circles up one leg, shaped almost like bracelets.

"I have no idea," Remus frowned.

"I think he's cute!" James picked him up.

The cat immediately cuddled into the crook of James's arm, purring as it fell asleep.

"Ooh, whose cat?" Peter bounced in, a few textbooks cradled by his backpack.

"James's now!" Sirius laughed, lunging at Peter.

They fell onto the floor, rolling around as they attempted to tickle each other.

"You know, I feel bad for whoever has to live with them. " Remus sighed. "It's going to be us, isn't it?"

"Absolutely."

"When did the cat get here?" Remus peered into the big green eyes.

"I don't know. I was having a nap and the bam! Cat!" James shifted with a smile.

"Well, he really does seem to like you," Remus smiled.

James sat in an armchair, carefully avoiding the brawl on the floor.

"Moony?" James called.

"Yes, Prongs?" Remus spun.

He hesitated. " Never mind."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I just- yeah, never mind."

Remus smiled, edging to the door with a book.

-

"Moons. Moonpie. Moonycake. Moony. Moondream. Moonage day dream. Moo. Remu. Rem. Remmy. Remus. Remington. Reeeeeemmmmmmuuuuuuuuusssss," Sirius sang.

"Shut up, you oversized egg," Remus groaned.

Sirius pouted, setting his chin on Remus's chest.

"Fine." Remus set down his book.

"MOONY!" James sprinted into the common room, half dressed and slightly crazed.

"What the-" Remus sat up quickly, knocking Sirius into a table.

"I need your help! Please!" James dragged Remus up to the dorms.

"Well then. I hope this is a good excuse to drag me away from my boyfriend and my book." Remus sat on his bed.

"What should I wear on my date with Reggie?" James gestured to his bed, half a dozen outfits laid out.

"Where are you going?" Remus stared down.

"Hogsmeade. I have head boy privileges." James paced, running his hands through his dark waves.

"Well, in that case, I would go against the swimming stuff. And why is there a short sleeve with khakis?" Remus judged. "You aren't an ugly teenage boy that everyone hates."

"Okay, okay!" James put them away. "I really have to get rid of these khakis."

"Jean shorts and a polo?" Remus said, nearly in tears.

"I don't know!" James cried.

"Well, that leaves us with dress pants and jumper or a pair of boxers and a hat."
