"I wonder if this camp has horses?" Karasu chattered in her window seat on the bus beside Todoroki. "I hope so. I know we're going to be there to focus on training and improving our quirks, but I really would like to ride some horses."

"Do you want me to let you know if you're rambling too much?" Todoroki asked, rolling his head to the side to look at her as he leaned against the back of his chair.

"Okay, okay. I'll stop." She smiled at him, picking at her nails. "What would you like to talk about?"

"Do we have to talk?" Todoroki raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well, I do." She raised an eyebrow back at him with a grin.

He smiled tiredly at her, their fingers brushing together. Both of them sat upright as the bus came to a stop, pulling off to the side of the mountain road.

"What's going on?" Jiro asked as Aizawa gestured for them to leave the bus.

"Maybe a break to stretch our legs?" Kaminari said hopefully.

"Your feline fantasies are here!" A woman standing at the railing exclaimed, waving her hands- or rather, paws- in the air as the entirety of Class 1-A filed off the bus.

"We're the Wild Wild Pussycats!" another declared.

"I feel like I recognize them." Karasu commented quietly to Todoroki as the pros kept talking excitedly.

He looked down at her for a moment and shrugged. "How long will we be out here, you think?"

"Literally no idea," she picked at her nails. She turned and looked out at the expanse of forest in front of them, her eyes focusing on the barely visible villa in the centre of the trees. "Wow... we've still got a ways to go before we're at the- what the hell!"

A wave of mud and dirt knocked the entirety of the class into the trees below them. Karasu spread her wings out, gliding smoothly to the ground as the rest of her classmates all hit the ground roughly.

"You all saw where the camp was!" The pro, called Mandalay, shouted down to them. "It should take you until noon to get there, kitties who don't make it there by twelve thirty don't get any lunch!"

As they all turned around, monsters began to form in the dirt.

"This is why I always keep my staff on me." Karasu pulled it from the belt she kept hidden under her shirt to keep it handy at all times.

Todoroki, Midoriya, Bakugo, and Iida all rushed forward- destroying the monster ahead of them quickly.

"That absolutely can't have been it." Yayurozu said as she looked around.

"I'm spotting like... five of them so far!" Karasu called as she flew up to the top of the trees. "And one has wings. Great." She sighed, flicking her staff open. "I've got that one!" She kicked off the branch below her and flew directly into one of the wings of the flying dirt monster. She used her staff to break a hole in it, and her wings to widen it as she sailed through it. It roared, swinging around sloppily as it tried to bite her. She kicked its mouth, watching the base of its jaw snap off and go sailing into the trees below. Karasu turned midair and brought her staff down on the monster's head. It collapsed into the clearing directly below and Karasu dropped down onto it. "Holy crap. I hope they keep them on the ground from here on out." She said as Todoroki slid up next to her on a stream of ice.

"We should keep you in the air, we can send a few to you to bust them up and keep watch from the sky." Iida said as he ran up next to them.

"Just tell me before you toss them up to me, okay?" Karasu nodded in agreement. Iida zoomed off again and Karasu turned to Todoroki. "Stay safe," she told him softly and squeezed his hand quickly before flying back into the sky.
