"Do you need something from me, Dabi?" Karasu didn't look up from her math homework as he lingered in the doorway of the room Hawks had put her in. "Hawks said I could take this time to get caught up on some schoolwork. Nothing classified- just math. Then biochem. Then english. Super riveting stuff, if you like 'The Three Musketeers'."
"I don't give a damn about your schoolwork." Dabi rolled his eyes as he walked into the room, sitting on the sofa directly across from where she was sitting on the floor. "I have questions about your little boy toy."

"Why are you asking about my boyfriend?" Karasu glanced at him again as she wrote out a few equations. "I'll thank you not to refer to him as my 'boy toy' from here on out."

Dabi raised a warning eyebrow. "Do I need to remind you of your role here?"

"I know my role- and it isn't to be insulted." She quipped back without looking up. "What do you want, Dabi?"

She's too confident. No highschool student would have this little fear in this situation. If I can get her to slip up once- both her and Bird Boy go down in flames... Literally. Dabi narrowed his eyes. "Hawks has made it clear you can't wear any wires. So I'll need you to tell me what you know about little Shoto Todoroki and his family." He crossed one leg over the other and leaned back.

"I don't have much information on them,' Karasu shrugged as she set her pen down, pulling her math folder out of her backpack and slipping the papers into it. "Shoto doesn't love to talk about his Dad. I know Endeavor was a jackass to me at the end of my Internship, and Fuyumi is a really good cook, and Natsuo is really just getting to know Shoto." She took a deep breath as she opened her biochemistry folder and pulled out her homework for that subject. "Although, he did just catch us kissing the other day so that was definitely awkward but then that weird 'Ending' villain attacked and got hold of both of us so hopefully there's no awkwardness left from that whole thing. Oh! He also had this hilarious shirt on that said 'front' on the front and 'back' on the back and I definitely need to ask Shoto to ask him where he got it-"

"You're stalling." Dabi snapped at her, his eyes murderous.

"I'm making a point." Karasu said as she wrote a few things down on her homework. "I can't tell you much about the inner workings of the Endeavor Agency because I don't know much about the inner workings of the Endeavor Agency. I know Shoto, and that's about it." She looked up at him. "And don't expect details about him. I'm with the Army, but I love Shoto. I'm not going to give you information you'll use to hurt him."

"You think he'd still love you if he knew you were here?" Dabi raised an eyebrow. "You think he'd leave his dear old dad and join us?"

"I know he'd trust me and my judgement." Karasu said honestly as she returned to her homework. He would. Especially with this mission. He may be angry that I've had to lie to him all this time, but he'd trust me. "Is that all?"

Dabi smirked slightly. "For now." He said, and stalked out of the room.

Hawks paused as he stepped into the doorway. "What were you two talking about?"

"He was trying to get information on Endeavor out of me. Not only do I have none, but I managed to annoy him."

"Kid. You know we're on their side." Hawks said as he dropped to the ground across the coffee table from her. "Don't antagonise them." She knew what he meant. Don't give them any reason to suspect we aren't actually with them.

"I didn't." She looked up at him and shook her head. "Besides- I can't just forgive them for trying to kill me. Also- also, he interrupted me while I was doing my homework. I still want to maintain my academic standing."
