He speeds up slightly, only to stop. Standing at the train station, the sound of insects chirping around them, is Izuku and some girl. He stares at her, his chest turning cold. She's beaming at him, her brown eyes sparkling with some bubbly joy.
She has a pink coat on, her brown hair cut into a bob. Shes cute, her pink cheeks brought out even more in the cold, and Katsuki fucking hates it. Izuku is looking down at her with a smile just as happy, and the two of them are talking like close friends, way too fucking close.
Katsuki feels his fingers twitch, needing to wrap them around the girl's neck and squeeze. The sudden deep hatred that he feels for this girl only multiplies when he sees Izuku's cheeks turn red. He stands there, covered by the lack of light, and watches.
They talk for a couple more minutes, before the station's speakers chime, signaling the arrival of the train. It booms on its tracks before coming to a slow stop, the doors opening smoothly. The girl hugs Izuku tightly before waving goodbye and going into the train.
Some people walk out, filling the station. Katsuki loses sight of Izuku for a moment, before he finally starts to walk towards it. When he finally gets to it, Izuku and the train ride back home are gone.
He sits down on one of the benches, his work back next to him as he glances at the sign hanging. It reads that the next train going in the direction he needs to go gets here in forty minutes. Katsuki looks back at the tracks, the yellow caution line standing out against his vision.
Who was that girl? Why did they look so friendly? Why did Izuku let her touch him like that? Does he like her? Does he like her more than he likes Katsuki? Are they more than just friends? Katsuki's ears buzz, his vision blurring until all he can see is the yellow caution line.
He hates that girls stupid fucking face. He wants to rip it off of her. Izuku wouldn't smile back at her so brightly if all she had was gums right? Izuku wouldn't touch her if she was dead. He doesn't know how he would do it, but he could figure it out...
The speakers on the train station chime, signaling the arrival of the train. Katsuki snaps up, his eyes coming back to focus. He hears the train approaching and stands up, his legs numb from sitting so long. He grabs his bag, and the train speeds past him, coming to a stop.
Before the doors open, he sees his reflection in the glass. His eyes are a dull red. The doors open and he enters the train, deciding to stand instead of sit. The train ride home is a blur, as well as the walk through the door.
He can hear Kirishima's snores from his room and goes into his own. He drops his bag by the door and without even a second thought, sits at his desk. He stares at the black computer screen before he turns it on, beginning his search.
