He looks through all of the social media platforms he can think of, before finally finding something useful. Izuku's profile is full of pictures of him and his family, which Katsuki quickly learns consists of just his mom.
She is a kind looking woman just like her son, with green eyes and hair. He checks her profile, just to make sure he doesn't miss anything important. There is nothing but pictures of food, recipes, and Izuku on her profile.
Katsuki gets to see Izuku as a child, which is a photo he never knew he needed. He saves it, and decides to print it, because why the hell not? The picture is cute, a big smiling Izuku missing one of his teeth as he beams at the camera, a big birthday cake in front of him.
He goes back to Izuku's page, finding a whole jack pot of information. How much he loves his mom, his favorite T.V show, his obsession with all might, what he's studying, and more importantly... who the fuck that girl at the train station is.
There are only a couple of pictures of them together, and most of the time they are with other people, but even one picture with that girl's face in it is enough to send his blood boiling and anger rushing through his veins.
He clicks on her profile and finds out her name is Ochako Uraraka. Bubbly, nice personality based on how many pictures she has with big groups of people, a big grin on her face. Most of them, unfortunately, are with Izuku. He hates it.
How come this girl gets to be so fucking close to him when Katsuki hasn't even gotten to see him outside of work yet? The hours blur past, and he finds out more information than he could have hoped for.
He finds out that Uraraka goes to some of the same classes as him, has the same lunch, and even takes the same way home by train. He finds out Izuku's favorite food is Katsudon, he lives close by the school with his mom since he has seen pictures of him near the convenience store just right across the school, and that he usually walks alone, instead of in a group.
Katsuki has his whole pathway marked on a couple of pieces of paper, tacked together on a cork board. He puts up the printed pictures too, Urarakas ugly fucking face cropped out in every single one. He only wants to see Izuku.
The sun shines through his window, its morning beams warm and bright. There is a knock on his door, and he wipes the fatigue from his eyes as best as he can, sliding the cork board under his desk, Izuku's face peeking at him.
"Bakubro! You up? Want some breakfast before we head out?"
Katsuki gets off his chair and goes to the door, opening it just a bit. Kirishima's red eyes gleam as he grins.
"Morning-!"
He takes in Katsuki's face and his smile falters.
