He stays silent for a moment, before clicking his pen and writing down notes, acting nonchalant.
"If I'm such a good friend, mind helping me with something? Some shitty extra got sick so I have to help the Culinary professor put shit in the freezer."
Uraraka thinks for a moment, her pencil tapping on the desk.
"Is it the class right next to the courtyard?"
He nods, and she instantly brightens up again.
"Izuku's class is pretty close to that part of the school! I'll help you and then head over to him, is that okay?"
Katsuki keeps his eyes to the front of the class, where the professor is droning on.
"Yeah, that works."
He keeps himself busy enough in class, so he doesn't have to keep himself from tackling round face onto the floor and strangling her in front of everyone in this entire fucking classroom. He can't possibly let her out of this safely now that she has forced his hand.
The thought of her and Izuku getting together makes him feel so sick he gets slightly dizzy at just thinking about it. The bell for the end of class rings in his ears, and Uraraka is already getting her stuff in her bag when he finally gets his body to move.
"So we'll just head over really quick right?"
Katsuki nods and slings his own backpack over his shoulder.
"Yeah, it shouldn't take that long."
Uraraka and him walk down the stairs to the door of the classroom. He leads her though the busy hallways and the loud sidewalks to the culinary building. It's pretty big, taking up a corner of the entire campus.
It's almost completely empty, students in isolated workrooms with their own kitchens. He leads her to the storage room, where a whole bin of items is waiting to be put into the industrial sized freezer room.
She puts her bag down and starts to move them, Katsuki making a mental note to get rid of it after he is done with her. He helps, bringing a couple of bags into the room. Uraraka is already in there, putting them down in a corner.
It's obviously freezing cold here, and the big steel door has to be left open so that they don't accidentally lock themselves in. There are metal shelves lining the walls and in the middle. It would take them a while to find someone in here, and they might not even find her at all if they didn't know she was here.
There is a table with a built-in saw against the furthest wall, used for cutting thick meats. The second reason he picked this place is because the cameras have been broken around this part of the school for a while now.
He remembers because Sero works in the school after hours, and he always bitches about it being dangerous just leaving the cameras broken like that. Uraraka and him go back and forth, and he can feel the strain in his muscles already.
Uraraka, who has been carrying a lot more than him, looks tired too.
