Wavelength Pov. (next chapter is character art)
1, 2, 3, ACK!? I stumble backward as my weight is thrown off. I had found a log and decided to tie a rock to the end of it. Who knows what weapons would be needed! I look up as the seekers fly by for their morning flight. I heave the log back up into the air and onto my shoulder. Solar chuckled slightly looking up from his datapad. Harmony giggled herself.
"I'm trying!" I snort.
"We can tell. Don't worry, your advanced hammer is such a useful idea." Solar chuckled.
"Hey!" I laugh, trying to hold my weird contraption study.
The rope holding the rock in place snapped, causing the log to fling forward. I tumbled with the log, crashing into the grass.
"Wavelength?!" Solar looked up from his datapad as Harmony made her way over.
"I'm fine! Slightly sore but fine." I sit back up.
*Maybe a break would be good? You've been trying to train for DAYS with that thing.* Harmony felt my armor for dents.
I groan and look up into the sky, the cloudy, after a storm type of sky.
"Yeah, that might be good." I give in.
"Plus, if you overwork yourself you can't teach me!" Solar laughed.
"Hey you're right! How about a lesson right now!" I laugh and try tackling him.
"AH!" Solar stood to fast and fell backwards.
I land on top as we start wrestling.
"How is this taking a break?!" Solar squawked laughing as he rolled away from me.
"Because it's fun! And breaks are fun!" I attempt to grab his ankle.
Solar managed to hop out of the way and took off running.
"Harmony? Wanna help?" I ask standing up.
*Yes!*
I picked her up onto my shoulder and ran after Solar. Harmony grinned and laughed.
*Hurry! He's circling back to the ship!* The young praxarian quickly warned me.
I slid and changed directions. Solar could be heard in front of us, further through the trees. I slowed to a stop when I couldn't hear him.
*Where did he go?*
"Not sure. But he's planning-"
My shoulders were grabbed making me scream. Harmony fell off my shoulders and into Solar's arms as she laughs.
"Why?!" I find myself laughing as well.
"Because I could!" Solar flashed a grin.
"Harmony? Did you know? You and your superpowers?" I joke.
*Oh yes, I figured it out the moment Solar ran back to the ship.*
"Betrayal!" I gasp mockingly.
*Yep!*
I chuckle as we continue walking. Solar playfully spun with Harmony now on his shoulders. Harmony's wings fluttered as she smiled.
"Think the seekers spotted anything?" I look up at the clouds.
"I hope so! We need more energon." Solar nodded.
"We're starting to get worryingly low."
"That we-" Solar cut off.
"Solar?" I look down from the sky.
"Wavelength? Did you set this up?" Solar set Harmony down.
*Set what up?* Harmony tried figuring it out.
