Eclipse POV

"And here!" One of them throws open another door.

"That's another closet." Solar sighs.

"Alright. This door!!"

"That's the washroom."

".....This door!"

"That's a closet. Again."

"Where IS everything on your ship!!"

"It's not mine!!" Solar reminded them.

"Yeah whatever!" The second pirate walks down the halls, to the berthrooms.

"What's this?"

"My room." I sigh.

"You're room is boring. Moving on!"

Yes. These pirates were so good at their jobs. I'm absolutely terrified.

"And this room?"

"That one would be mine." Solar looks at me annoyed.

"Oh. Yours is also boring. Do none of you have anything exciting?"

"Nope. Again, we only had time to leave with our school bags." I explain it like he was ten.

"Hey! I may be missing screws! But I'm not stupid!" He huffs offended.

"Hm. I'm begging for mercy." I keep walking.

His friend snickers.

"OH!! I think I found something!!" The mech cheers.

"Oh! What?!" His buddy wrestles for the scanner.

"Hey?! Stop that?! It's MINE!!"

"I brought it aboard!"

"And I took it!"

"They act like children." Solar whispered to me.

"Definitely." I sigh and shake my head.

"It's frooom! In here!" The first throws open the door. "Oh.... Another bedroom...."

I snort out loud that time. But my tanks knotted. That was Wavelengths room. Did he lock his datapad in time? Or whatever he was so frantic about?

"Then you've got it all wrong!!" The other shoves their partner.

"Oh yeah!! Then where is it?!"

The two explode into arguing.

"I don't think anyone is leaving anytime soon." I shake my helm.

"Hopefully their boss gets annoyed and leaves." Solar leans against the wall.

"ACK?!" He jumps away suddenly, rapidly rubbing upper arm.

"What? Little bot has a problem?" One mocks.

"Sure. If you count the walls spontaneously shocking you!!" Solar huffs, his winglets flaring.

"Um. What?"

"Solar?" I look at him confused.

"I'm serious! The wall shocked me! And hard to...."

"Walls don't-" The pirate was cut off be a pitter patter in the vents above us.

"Solar?" I back up towards him.

"I have no idea."

The four of us watched the ceiling above it, the hall lights suddenly powered off.

"Hey! Is the ship supposed to do that?" One of the mechs ask.

"Not in the slightest." Solar sounded wary.
