Elipse POV.
"Eclipse! We've reached the first planet!" I hear one of them call out my designation.
I groan but get up.
"Yeah, I'm coming!" I yawn and stretch.
Out in the hallway I could hear Harmony and Flare laughing and playing. I smile to myself and walk up to the windows across from my room. I didn't know the galaxy would be so big; it's beautiful. My wings flicked slightly as I spotted the first planet. Or last? From Sire's adventures, the humans called the planet Neptune. I watch the blue and white swirls, the faint rings, and moons interact with each other. It was serene, peaceful. Who knew watching galactic bodies of such power would be so- comforting? Despite everything they could do, everything they affect. The planets look so content just floating there.
"Hey Eclipse." Wavelength leaned onto the window with me.
"Hey. Lovely isn't is?" I hum.
"Definitely." His voice sounded like someone remixed it.
I liked it. Not many bots had that naturally. Magness hated it. He said it was too much like Wavelength's sire. Whoever that was. I playfully nudge his shoulder with mine. He laughs and nudges back. Snorting I push again.
"Mature of you." He smiled.
"Thank you!" I grin proud of myself.
"Next planet isn't fair. I think it's fairly similar to this one as well."
"Think it'll be just as pretty?"
"Yep. Solar says the prettiest ones are closest to the sun though."
"Really? Which ones?" I lean my back against the window.
"Well, Earth for starters. Mercury is stunning. But the best?" He smiled. "Jupiter."
"Jupiter?" My chuckling makes my wings bounce.
"Yep!" His smile spread with his excitement.
I've always loved those. The happy, genuine smiles he always makes. The way he encourages his friends to smile, even if it's small.
"Why that planet?" I ask curious.
"I like the colors." He admitted.
The colors?
"Shades of brown and bronze?"
"Exactly! Just like you. Especially in the sky and under the sun."
My spark flutters and a smile tugs at my lips. Wavelength really knew what made others appreciated.
"Well thank you. I'll have to find a planet that fits you then." I tease back.
Wavelength smiles and leaned into my shoulder. "I can't wait for Earth. Who knows what we'll find!"
"Maybe the cure." I laugh in an optimistic way.
Wavelength laughs. "Man, what luck would that be? But hey, who knows? Earth and Cybertron share quite a history. Even before the war."
"A very complicated history." I snort amused.
He chuckles. "Think Earth will be what we expect?"
"Maybe? We've only seen the few photos our creators have."
He nods. "I'm excited though! New opportunities! New chances! I-"
He paused.
"You get to finally build yourself? Be who you want to without Ultra Magness in the way?"
"Every step of the way!" Wavelength beams.
I lean my back against the window, he does the same.
"It's strange? Isn't it?" I remark. "For once, we're completely free. From almost everything. But still, we decided to go on this crazy adventure."
