Beautiful Mistake

At Raya's home

At night, Ram helped Prateek to sleep and then he came to their bedroom with Priya's fav ice cream.

Ram (in mind): Priya is pretending but nowadays she loves to eat ice cream more I want to spoil my big kid

Ram: Jaan, look what I got, your favourite flavour salted caramel with choco chips

Priya: BTW it's your fav, not mine. One more thing, I hate ice cream

Ram: Jaan, how could you hurt me by saying hate to the first love of my life ICE CREAM

Priya: Stop being childish, I wish I could spell magic to your so-called first love ICE CREAM and vanish it from my house forever.

Ram: Jaan look! stress is neither good for you nor our baby. You need this to calm down. You don't need a magic spell rather just eat and finish it.

Ram fed her slowly and she enjoyed it fullest, wiped her face and they settled down on the bed on their sides. Priya kept on her head near his heart while he slowly caressed her back. She loves hearing his heartbeat

Ram: Jaan...

Priya: Hmm...

Ram: What's on your mind? Please spill it

Priya: You're spoiling Tiku, better you stop this before he went out of our hands.

Ram (holding her palm between his): I understand your concern but he is just 5yr kid and let him enjoy his life without any barrier. We both are here to protect him and guide him in every step of life.

Priya: He lies to us and throws tantrums now and then. 

Ram (with a teasing smile): FYI he inherited tantrum quality from his mother.

Priya: Do you remember how he behaved with Mrs Sharma's son in school? Her son was bleeding that day due to your son and I had to apologise to her.

Ram: That was an accident during play time and Mrs Sharma dragged it too far, but my poor boy said sorry to her and he promised us to stay away from any fight in future.

Priya: Your son called his classmates with animals like giraffe, zebra, rat and porcupine. Do you remember the incident when your son put a cockroach inside his teacher's bag?

Ram: After all my son is very smart and a little naught too. One way it sounds rude but you need to appreciate his logical mind in it, names were not that bad but rather matched to a certain extent. 

This is not a sin, just his beautiful childish mistake. Life will be boring without this little fun.

Priya: Slow clap for a father who is blind to see his son's fault, you're making yourself proud of it. You have given him a special privilege to our son and he is behaving like a spoiled brat

Ram: One thing I promised myself when I lived in that dungeon alone, away from my family. I'll spend time with my family more and make memories with them.

For the last 2yr, I was busy expanding our business to secure my family's future but neglected our present. You had to manage Tiku's school parent meetings along with helping me in our business.

I got a second chance in life and wanted to make the most out of it. Whatever the future hold, at least my son will have good memories and I don't want to regret it later.

Priya( smiled): I understand. But you promise me that next time you won't cover his lies. Let him grow and learn from his mistake

Ram (peaked her forehead): as you wish. Please let me handle him now, you shouldn't take any stress at this time when I'm right by your side.  Everything will fall in its place with time.
