Y/N: "Your Highness, your father wishes for you to meet him in the Diner."

Y/N peaks into the young Prince's room seeing him resting on the window seat, reading a book with a bored look on his face as he glanced at Y/N and back to the pages. Y/N furrowed her brow and let herself in and walked in front of him. Placing her fist against her hip as she stared down at the Prince until he got up.

Y/N: "Your Highness. Your father wants to see you. It's urgent."

Shu: "Does it have to do with me getting married?"

Now Shu's eyes narrowed burning through the pages with his ruby eyes as they gleamed from the sunlight. Y/N could only sigh and Shu got his answer.

Y/N: "Yes. It does. Now, you have to come. The Lady is waiting along with your parents. They're getting impatient."

But Shu didn't budge and that pushed Y/N's buttons. She raised her fist up and slammed it down behind his head making him drop his book on the floor, upside down. Shu hissed at the impact and clutched the back of his head and glared at his father's advisor. She only gave him the same treatment.

Y/N: "You are not turning another maiden out of this castle. Do you hear me, young man?"

Shu cast his eyes away before nodding. Y/N relaxed and started to walk out of the room before she said something to him.

Y/N: "And please behave yourself. We don't want to have that incident again. And at least give them a chance. Who knows, you might end up falling for them."

Shu only huffed and Y/N shook her head and left him alone to get ready. She spoke to his guard, Aiger to escort him to the Diner when he is finished. And made him make sure he was ready just by barging in whether he was half-naked or not.

Dragging her feet to the Diner. Shu's date was waiting patiently while chatting with the Queen as the King was sitting at the end of the long table, tapping his finger on his golden chair impatiently.

Walking towards him and bowed at him. Reporting that Shu will come to the Diner and give his date a chance. The King smiled at the news and thanked her and joined in the conversation with his Queen and the date.

Y/N stood by the King's side while she mentally had a nervous breakdown hoping that Shu will not make this dinner a disaster.

And of course, her words got twisted.

Shu had arrived formerly dressed well. His parents smiled brightly at him and he glanced at the advisor to see her smiling proudly at him. He averted his gaze and sat in his father's place as they left him and his date alone.

The King had requested for Y/N to stay and observe how they are doing and how their relationship will become. The date didn't mind and Shu's face didn't falter one bit and shooed his parents away so he could get this over with.

Y/N stood awkwardly by the side as the date was struggling to keep a conversation with Shu. The start of the conversation was alright but didn't go well after that. She looked between them. Shu ate peacefully like she wasn't there. The date across him was fiddling in her seat picking at her food, losing her appetite slowly.

And thats when things went downhill. The maiden had enough of his attitude and started insulting him and Shu continued eating peacefully ignoring the insults as he heard them a million times before.

The maiden couldn't take it anymore and stormed out of the Diner and out of the castle. Some staff watched the steaming maiden angrily walk out of the room towards the exit. Shu only watched in amusement. Y/N dropped her head in disappointment.

Y/N: "What were you thinking?!"

Y/N paced back and forth in front of Shu in his room. His eyes followed her frantic form. Shu scoffed and brushed the situation conversation off.

Shu: "Don't be so dramatic. I never liked her either way. She showed her true colours anyways."

Shu had a point but he could have changed her as she changing him over time. Y/N paused her pacing and pinched her nose and let out a sigh that she held in for a long time. Turning to him with astern look.

Y/N: "I don't understand. Why can't you spend at least one day? One day with them. Why do you keep rejecting them?! That would b probably be the last maiden you could date and you threw it up!"

Shu brought his leg up on his bed and placed his arm on it leaning against his hand.

Y/N: "If the reason you keep rejecting them then you must have eyes for someone!"

And that made Shu stiffen and his ears turn cherry red. Y/N made an unbelievable look and crossed her arms.

Y/N: "Prince Shu... Who is it? Who is this woman?"

Shu stayed silent for a hot minute and stood up and fully faced the advisor. She raised a brow at him and opened her mouth to ask but Shu grabbed her arm and wrapped an arm around her waist. And he suddenly connected their lips together. Y/N made a surprising sound and couldn't move.

Backing his head away, he looked deeply into her eyes. Ruby eyes filled with adoration and love. The advisor and the Prince's burning faces. Feeling their bodies grow hotter from the flushed looks.

"It's you. It's always been you."
