Y/N put some food and the smell was blowing through the wind and the smell attracted some creatures. They came occurring over into a large yard that basically leads to a forest. Y/N placed the bowl on the trolley and took it outside, where they patiently waited for the food.

Y/N: "All right, guys! Breakfast is ready."

They cheered and all dived in. Y/N smiled at them and a fellow bird landed on her shoulder. Its bright silver wings shined from the sun reflecting on them.

Y/N: "Hey, finch. Is he back?"

Finch chirped back at her and confirmed that Shu had returned. Y/N smiled and walked to the front door to greet him. Hearing the doorbell ring, Y/N opened the door with a bright smile on her face like a kid in a candy store, seeing those jeweled candies.

Y/N: "Shu, welcome back!"

Shu: "It's good to be back."

Y/N hugged him and looked next to him and smiled at his partner.

Y/N: "Scortch, hi! How are you!"

The Cinderace waved at her and hugged her in excitement to see the caretaker again. Cinder ace was a scorbunny was abandoned by an old trainer when they released how useless he was. Scortch was a lonesome rabbit until Y/N found him while she was out collecting herds for Pokemon medicine.

And of course, Y/N doesn't expect for him to trust her but she took care of him like she did with all the other Pokemon. She always hated those types of trainers. They don't even bother giving them, Pokemon a chance.

Day by day, week by week, and soon it turned into months. Scortch gave in and decided to give her a chance. He happily spent his time with her and all the other Pokemon. And that's when Shu came into the picture, Scortch always noticed that he came by he was pretty close with Y/N and how easily he makes her feel comfortable.

He didn't like it at first but remembered her words when she told him. 'They may be here to talk to me or want to hang out. Even if I do fall in love with someone and end up with them. I'd still love you guys as my family.' He wonders if he could take those words in and give this man a chance.

Shu was taking a look around, as Y/N brought Scortch to him and introduced him. Shu greeted him with kindness and went on a slow bond with him. He heard the story from Y/N to what happened to him and decided to take a step back and make him comfortable.

And Y/N was happy that Scortch could get along with another person. She was proud of him. And Scortch eventually decided to take a journey with. But he felt a wave if sadness, swallowing him inside.

Y/N: "You should explore the world. And learn more about it. Make sure you meet new friends. And if you come across your ex-trainer be sure to kick him down!"

Y/N didn't show a wave of sadness but was proud of him and how far he grew up to be.

Shu: "I'll make sure he stays out of trouble."

Scortch looked at him in disbelief and started to hit his legs with his palm in anger for basically calling him a troublemaker. Y/N and Shu laughed at his little temper and he pouted making Y/N pinch his cheeks.

Y/N: "It's been what? Three years? And Scortch is all grown up! And looking pretty strong."

Both of the couple looked at Scortch happily playing with the other Pokemon. Y/N smiled happily at them, going through her memories of them together before he went with Shu on his journey.

Shu: "Hey, maybe sometime you could travel with us."

Y/N looked at him in shock and smiled.

"Sure, why not?"
