Apologies for the wait. I couldn't find your short recap so yeah... You are a member of the Snake Pit alright. You decided to join Snake Pit to stay with Shu to help him get through his mental problems. Had to finish off the requests get new ones and finish of stories.

Y/N [P.O.V.]

Ever since Shu and I joined, Shu changed a lot. He may be headstrong, rude and bossy. But whenever I was around he seemed to not act like Red Eye, he seemed to act like Shu, but instead of his cool and confident self, he seemed sad.

Right now, we're both in a forest, me just sitting down, leaning against a tree, a random bunny hopped by and relaxed with me, while Shu or Red Eye was training.

Red Eye: "Let it Rip!"

Red Eye launched Legend Spryzen training it to be better and stronger. His anger and vengeance towards Lui were growing. He had given himself up to the darkness but not completely.

I also was worried about our friends, if Red Eye even still considers them friends. I was too lost in thought and didn't notice or hear Red Eye walking toward me or crouching in front of me.

Red Eye: "Hey."

"Ah! God!"

I grabbed my chest as the bunny hopped away.

Red Eye: "..."

"Jesus... Stop scaring me like that. Anyways what's up?"

Red Eye: "We're going back in."

Red Eye stood up straight and headed for the Snake Pit. I watched his figure disappearing further into the forest. I felt something soft on my lap. I looked down to see the bunny again, I smiled and gave the rabbit a rub before picking it up and placing it back down on the soft grass and following after Red Eye.

'Shu seems more depressing and desperate than usual.'

AUTHOR [P.O.V.]

Y/N was getting ready for some 'guests' coming to the Snake Pit looking for their friends. Y/N had a feeling it would be her friends. She walked all the way to the monitor room where, Ashtem, Gold Eye, Boa and Red Eye were there. Y/N entered and stood next to Red Eye, looking at the monitor to see Valt vs Azure Eyes, preparing to battle in a cold stadium.

Throughout the whole battle, Y/N prevented herself from laughing out so loud after a bad pun from Valt, she and Red Eye were waiting for them in the final stadium where there was only a long podium outstretched where it led to a battle stadium and a giant, dark hole beneath them where anyone can fall in by misstep.

As the doors opened Valt, Honcho, Wakiya, Daigo and Cuza looked surprised to see Red Eye but were more surprised to see the person behind him.

Valt, Honcho, Wakiya & Daigo: "Y/N?!"

Valt: "W-What are you doing here?! Why are you here?!"

Y/N looked down as she was blocked from view by Red Eye. The final battle ended rather quickly as everyone disappeared down the hole. Y/N kneeling over the edge of the podium, worried for her friends.

Red Eye: "They'll be fine. Don't worry. They should be outside now."

Y/N looked over at Red Eye. She sighed and stood up.

Y/N: "Let's go."

The two left and headed to Red Eye's room. Red Eye didn't question as she entered his room. Y/N sat on the bed as Red Eye was practising his Bey, Ashtem somehow let the Shadow Bladers' room have a stadium.

Y/N sighed and stood up from the bed as Red Eye was sweating bullets again. She took out a napkin and rubbed it against his arm.

Y/N: "You need to stop. You're gonna pass out soon."

Red Eye: "I can't stop⎯"

Y/N grabbed his arm and made him sit on his bed and started to dry his sweat. She moved onto his face and she started to take off the mask and to her surprise, he didn't even try to stop her from seeing his face. Y/N walked to the bathroom to get a bowl of water and a new towel.

Y/N: "Y'know... Red Eye, you're not really, yourself, your masked self."

Red Eye: "... I don't know either. I don't even know what's wrong with me."

Y/N: "Hmm. Maybe you just at least need someone to support you through this... whole stuff."

Red Eye didn't reply as Y/N came back with a bowl of water and placed it on his bedstand. Y/N made Red Eye lay against the bed. Y/N grabbed the towel and wetted it before placing it on his forehead and wiping away the sweat. Y/N let out a smile before helping him up leaning against the bedstand.

Y/N: "You should at least let me help you. Just for a while won't hurt."

Red Eye glanced at her before facing forward and giving a nod. Y/N smiled and gave him a side hug.

Y/N: 'I'll help you get through this.'
