Y/N was sitting in the garden, reading a book as she was relaxing in the Gazebo.

She picked up her tea and took a sip of it and put it back down and continued to read her book.

A pair of arms wrapped around her shoulders surprised her but she relaxed when she felt his lips press against her temple.

Shu: "Here you are. I was worried you left to go somewhere."

Y/N chuckled and moved away for him to sit next to her. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and she rested her head against his shoulder.

Y/N: "Don't worry so much. I just wanted to come out here and read."

Shu: "Without me?"

Y/N chuckled and slightly elbowed him. But her chuckles died down and Shu looked at her and back at the scenery.

Y/N: "Would you like to come with me to visit her?"

Shu: "Haaa..., I can't delay the meeting anymore. But, alright..."

After Shu and the King had woken and were slowly recovering. Y/N discussed with them that they should come back down to the dungeon and talk about what they should do with his mother.

King: "I'll talk with her first and then you two can see her next time "

After the King had talked with his wife, well, ex-wife, and discussed with Y/N's parents where should she be banished and how to lock her powers or take them away so she wouldn't harm anyone.

Y/N and Shu were now walking toward the cell where his mother was kept. With guards by their side in case she does something.

They stopped in front of it, and both stared at the chained-up witch.

Queen: "What have you come here for?"

Shu: "We just want to inform you that there is a high chance you'll lose your head."

Y/N: "But, if neither Shu nor the King does not prefer that idea then we'll have to take your powers away and have you execute you to some banished island."

The Queen only chuckled as if they were only mere threats that she could snap her fingers and make them disappear.

Queen: "Hah! I'm not surprised."

Shu only stared at his mother for a moment and told the guards to take Y/N out of the dungeon so he could talk with her alone.

Y/N: "Be careful."

She placed a kiss on his cheek and walked away with the guards by her side.

Once they were out of sight the silence welcomed them back.

Queen: "Shu, my son. You should know I only wanted you to be the best King in the world without that pheasant. I tried to help you! You could've been better off with Princess ―"

Shu: "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

The Queen immediately shut her mouth.

Shu: "Stop trying to put me under your spell. It's not going to work."

The Queen clicked her tongue and looked away.

Shu: "You don't get to control my life anymore once you're gone."

Queen: "But I'm your mother! Won't you be devastated once I leave this world?!"

Shu: "After what you did in my Kingdom and almost tried to kill my girlfriend. I think you deserve to lose your head."

The Queen looked down not able to make her son listen to her and he left her alone to rot in the cell.

Shu walked out of the dungeon and sighed and looked ahead of him to see Y/N leaning against the wall waiting for him.

Y/N looked up and saw Shu safe and sound.

Y/N: "I'm glad you're alright."

Shu: "I'm fine, Y/N."

Shu hugged her a bit tighter than usual. But she didn't say anything if he doesn't wish to talk.

Shu: "Come let's go and see our parents."

Y/N nodded and they both headed to the throne room to discuss with their parents about what they should do with the Queen.

A whole crowd of villagers had their torches raised and their pitchforks in the air as the Queen was on her knees and her head through the guillotine.

The Queen glanced to the side, where standing on the podium was Shu, the King, Y/N, and her parents watching by the side as her execution was close to an end.

She closed her eyes and the cries and yells of the people were slowly fading away and the next thing happened turned black.

Y/N was busy putting on her favorite dress and checked herself in the mirror.

Her bedroom door opened and Shu came in. He smiled at her appearance and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Y/N smiled and placed her hands on his hands, her finger brushing against the ring on his finger. Her ring sent shivers on his arm when it touched his skin.

Shu: "You ready for the announcement?"

Y/N: "Yes, I am."

Shu lets go of her and offered a hand to her. She took it and both walked to the ballroom.
