After leaving the Kingdom and staying in Valt's kingdom for 5 months now. Y/N and Shu have been living peacefully with him. The King hadn't come to the kingdom to come looking for them. Right now Shu and Valt along with the others have been helping them build a new kingdom just for Y/N and Shu under his name. Where Shu will be the King and Y/N becoming his soon-to-be Queen. For now, she is a lady waiting until they were ready to get married.

Y/N was in their shared room in Valt's castle. She was reading a book out of boredom. Her temporary maid, Reina, was standing by her side combing her hair and styling it. She then started to have a conversation about today's day and a little about Shu and herself.

Reina: "My Lady. When are you and Shu going to be engaged? The kingdom has been itching for you to be intimate now."

Y/N let out a couple of nervous chuckles as her cheeks dusted pink. She pulled the book closer to her face. Trying to cover her flushed cheeks as she looked out the window to where she saw Shu's and Valt's small figures in the gardens chatting about.

Y/N: "We've been dating for 6 years and we just... aren't ready yet. I mean─! We have a lot to learn about ruling, especially me! I only the basics! I was a maid since I was a child! Shu has more advances in ruling by himself for a while and I could only be his side supporting him. And─"

Reina: "Woah, woah! My Lady, please calm yourself."

Reina placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and made Y/N slightly jump but took a deep breath in and out. Reina continued herself when her Lady completely calmed down.

Reina: "I'm sure you will be a wonderful Queen. Maybe even the greatest Queens in history!"

Y/N let out a weak smile at Reina, thanking her for the complacency. She focused back on the window smiling at her future King.

Resting against his chest and playing with his white hair. The moonlight shone in their shared room. Y/N snuggled closer to Shu as he played with her own hair. Shu then decided to ask his Lady, who was ready to shut her eyes.

Shu: "Y/N?"

Y/N: "Yes, My King?"

Shu chuckled at his new nickname. He will have to get used to it since he will be creating his own kingdom under his name. And he get used to calling her his Queen. But for now, he called her his Lady. She still feels conflicted about being called Queen.

Shu: "Yes, My Lady?"

The silent suspense made Shu stop playing with her hair and looked down at her nervously.

Y/N: "Do you think I'll make a great Queen?"

Shu sat up abruptly making Y/N step away in shock and her eyes widen in surprise at the jump. He suddenly then grabbed her shoulders and stared into her eyes not looking away.

Shu: "Do NOT doubt yourself, Y/N! You will make a great Queen. I love you for your passion, your smarts, your bravery, your beauty and most of all yourself. I love you for who you are and I know you to be a great Queen."

Y/N smiled at his speech and placed a quick kiss on his lips and moved away. She smiled brightly in the dim room. Shu leaned back down on the bed and placed a warm kiss on her head. He kept them there and muttered something that she couldn't make out. But left it alone and closed her eyes to drift herself off to dreamland.

"I wouldn't choose anyone other than you. Even in another life. I will always choose you."
