Chapter 52

When Clara returned to the room she could hear Taehyung in the bathroom, quietly singing to himself. Peaking around the doorframe she saw him swaying back and forth doing some of the moves from one of their songs as he brushed his teeth. Clara giggled a bit, drawing his attention to his wife and the boys she held in either arm.

He reached for the cub who had his arms held out to his father. Taehyung broke into a large smile as he held him in his arms, inviting him to join in swaying to the music. The little one squealed along, waving his hands in the air while Taehyung tried to avoid a little fist accidentally colliding with his face.

"Clara, will you and the boys come to breakfast with me today? I think Namjoon was hoping to see you for a few minutes and it's going to be a busy day." Taehyung looked at her hopefully. He had a surprise for her this morning but needed her to come with for the big reveal.

"Sure, let me just pull my hair back. The little cub really likes to tug on it now and if I feed him without tying it back I always end up with food all through my hair."

Taehyung looked at the little cub and gave him a small scolding. "Hey, you shouldn't do that to your mama." He followed the chastising with a loud kiss on his cheek. "Now let's get you ready to have some breakfast."

Taehyung and Clara walked to breakfast hand in hand, each with a baby in their arms. As usual the cub, who Taehyung was holding, was wiggling to get down while their little tiger was curled into Clara's neck, enjoying their time snuggled together.

Walking into the suite Clara immediately saw Hobi's girlfriend Yejin by his side. "Surprise!" She shouted before going to give Clara a friendly hug.

"Yejin? I didn't know you were coming." Clara gently embraced her back, not expecting to see her here.

"I know, but I missed Hobi so much I couldn't stay away any longer. Just last week we agreed I'd come join him for a week of the tour. But I know our boys are busy during the day so I was hoping the two of us could spend some time together too."

"Oh," Clara said but followed it with a long pause while she tried to make eye contact with Taehyung and then Hobi. "Yes, that would be nice, but I have the twins, and I don't know if you heard but...". Clara didn't quite have the heart to say everything that had happened.

Yejin drew closer so she could speak more quietly. "I know everything that happened. You don't have to say anything if you don't want to. I know it's been difficult but I still hope we can hang out? I really have missed you."

Clara blushed and then nodded. "That would be nice, but I'm afraid it's hard for me to go out with everything that is going on and having the twins."

"Don't worry about it. We'll figure something out, ok?"

Clara gave a polite bow of her head, not quite confident but glad to have another friendly face.

That day Yejin joined Clara for her yoga lesson and a quiet lunch. Yejin wanted to go out shopping but Clara claimed she was too tired to go along so she encouraged Yejin to have a good time while she brought the twins back to her room for their afternoon nap.

That evening Yejin and Hobi joined Clara and Taehyung for dinner, making a small double date in their suite.

"I'm sorry," Clara apologized for limiting their dinner options. "It's just hard to go out right now."

Yejin kindly nodded. "I understand, but really I want you to come with me to our boys concert later this week. I'd rather go with a friend than just spend the evening with security and I heard you haven't even had the chance to see a full concert yet."
