Chapter 55

Getting ready for the concert with Yejin was more fun than Clara expected. Yejin once again carefully did her makeup and styled her hair beautifully. Clara wore a dress she'd gotten earlier in the week and after an early dinner she was ready to go.

Yejin and Clara rode together and were dropped off backstage so they could see the boys before the concert. Taehyung was nearly giddy in excitement knowing his wife was coming and couldn't sit still, even for a moment. As soon as they walked in the rear stadium doors Taehyung swept Clara up in a bone crushing hug, spinning her around in a circle before setting her back down.

"I'm so glad you're here. I can't believe we've been married for over a year and you've been on tour with us for nearly seven months and haven't seen a full concert yet."

Clara smiled shyly in return. "I know. I'm really excited too."

Fingers intertwined, they followed Hobi and Yejin down several hallways until they reached the green room. Clara shyly peaked out from behind Taehyung to wave at everyone who was in the room, including several managers, security, and a couple of stylists that looked like they were doing last minute fixes on some of Yoongi's clothes.

Namjoon bounced up first and wrapped Clara in a hug. "I'm so glad you're here. Now it's time for the big question of the night. Are you most excited to see Taehyung or me on stage?" Namjoon gave her a goofy grin to ensure he knew she was joking.

"Well," Clara became quite quiet before whispering conspiratorially, "I'm actually most excited to see Jungkook."

Taehyung immediately came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her tight. He growled low in her ear, "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that, but have no doubt, I'm going to remind you that I'm your favorite before this night is over."

Clara blushed and was a bit relieved when her security escort came in to let her and Yejin know that it was time for them to go to their seats.

They had set up a spot for them that was entirely private, close to the stage but with large barriers to hold others back. There was a small basket of snacks on top of a small cooler of beverages. It seemed Taehyung really had thought of everything.

Clara found this concert just as mesmerizing this time as the last. She could hardly draw her eyes away from the stage, but mostly from her gorgeous husband. He was sexy and dominant along with playful and energetic. As the music and dancing continued Clara could only think two things. First, Taehyung looked incredibly happy on stage and performing. Second, he was indescribably good at what he did. Clara was getting tired just trying to keep up with watching the performance, but the man she couldn't take her eyes off was able to dance and run around endlessly while singing perfectly. He was gifted. There was simply no other explanation.

As the concert came to an end Clara felt like it was finally time to unfreeze. She realized she'd been so caught up in the concert she hadn't even noticed if anyone was watching her or looking her way. Everything faded away in the glow of Taehyung's performance, even Yejin's wild dancing and singing along.

The girls were quickly escorted backstage to be reunited with their men. The security member who was escorting them cracked open the green room door but when he saw the members were still doing a small fan meet, he quickly closed the door before the women were seen, inviting them to slip into an adjacent hallway.

"I know what you're thinking," Yejin said as soon as they were in a quiet place. "But it's the boys job to meet and be friendly to their fans. I saw the girl leaning into Taehyung just like you saw Hobi holding the other girl's hand while he talked to her. But at the end of the day those two men are only going home with you and me. Tae was happy to meet a fan, but it's nothing like the look in his eyes when he sees you."
