Chapter 10: Glowing

When Taehyung and Jungkook arrive to pick up Hoseok from Seokjin and Namjoon's apartment, they are very happy to see their smiling pup.

"Mates!" Hoseok gasps in excitement when he sees the marks on their shoulders and smells their mixed scents.

"Yes, we are mates." Taehyung smiles and lifts Hoseok into his arms.

"Thank you so much for watching him for us." Jungkook smiles and bows his head to Namjoon and Seokjin.

"Of course! He was such a well-behaved pup! We absolutely loved having him this week." Seokjin quickly hugs Jungkook.

"Congratulations, Kook." Namjoon smiles and looks at the happy alpha.

"Thank you." Jungkook smiles and then looks at his beautiful mate. "I couldn't be happier. I hope that he is happy."

"What do you feel through your link?" Namjoon asks and gently pats Jungkook's shoulder.

"He is happy, glowing." Jungkook hums and watches as his mate lovingly cradles Hoseok in his arms.

"Taehyung's emotions that you feel over your link will never lie to you, and the same goes for your emotions. You both will always know how your mate is feeling." Namjoon gently tells Jungkook who nods with a bright smile.

"That makes me so happy." Jungkook sighs in relief.

When the happy family gets home, Jungkook quickly makes something for them to eat because he has to go to a night shoot. As he cooks, he listens to his mate telling their pup about various flowers and how to care for them. A tear trickles down the alpha's face as his omega's pure happiness fills their link.

Taehyung looks up at his alpha when he feels a surge of emotions over his link with his mate. He can feel his alpha's pure joy and love.

"Jungkook, I love you so much." Taehyung links his mate who quickly turns and looks at him.

"I love you too, more than words can express." Jungkook smiles at his sweet mate.

The moment the food is ready, Hoseok cheers in excitement and runs over to the kitchen table. Jungkook softly chuckles and lifts his excited pup and sets him in his booster seat at the table.

"Someone is very excited about food." Taehyung softly laughs as he walks over to his seat at the table.

"He is." Jungkook smiles and makes sure that Taehyung is comfortably seated.

After they finish eating, Jungkook showers and gets ready for his late-night shoot. When the alpha gets out of the shower, he sees his mate and pup sitting on the bed as Taehyung continues to explain more flowers to their pup. The alpha smiles and quickly walks over to his sweet family.

"Sunshine, will you take very good care of your Eomma while Appa is working?" Jungkook asks Hoseok who quickly smiles and nods his head. "Such a sweet Sunshine." Jungkook lovingly hums and pats Hoseok's head.

"Have fun on set." Taehyung hums and gently kisses Jungkook's cheek.

"Thank you, Blossom." Jungkook smiles and kisses his mate then leaves for his shoot.

When Jungkook gets on set, everyone stares at the mark on his shoulder in complete shock. They all whisper amongst themselves as they try to figure out who his mate is. Since Jungkook is tall even for an alpha standing at 6'4" (193 cm), everyone expected that his mate would be a female alpha. However, the mark created by small canines tells everyone that his mate is an omega. Even celebrity news outlets always came up with different ideas of which female alpha celebrity the handsome actor would pick.
