Love Island 2023

6 months later (36)

The 6 months after Love Island has gone fast. 

We found a house and it was in Manchester and we decided why not move there. We packed up, bought the house and moved in. Today we're having a welcome party. Everything is done, we just have to get ready.

I go into the bedroom and see Tom is ready. "You look good" I said, smiling. "Thanks, so do you" said Tom. "I'm in work out clothes, you idiot!" I said, smiling. "Still look amazing!" said Tom. I walk over and kiss him. "I'm getting ready" I said. He nods and sits on the bed. I pull on an off the shoulder burgundy dress with sleeves that are around my arms. I pull on clear heels and I smile. I curl my hair and do the lightest make up. I step out and Tom walks over. "You look amazing" said Tom. "Thank you, my love" I said, kissing him. We share another kiss and go downstairs. 

We smile and then we hear knocks on the door. I open it and see Mason, Luke and Marcus. "Hey guys" I said, letting them in. They come in and Mason hugs me. "You look beautiful, sis" said Mason. "Thanks" I said. Marcus and Tom are chatting. 

Soon everyone has arrived. Ashton walks over and hugs me. "I have a boyfriend" said Ashton. "Who?" I ask. Mason walks over and wraps his arm around her. "No way" I said. "Yeah, Ben knows. But I have always liked him and we started 3 months ago" said Ashton. "I'm so happy for you two!" I said. "Thanks, Hallie" said Mason. "So, long distance?" I ask. "Actually, I rented a flat up here so we're close together but yeah. We're happy" said Ashton. I hug them and Tom walks over. 

"You two are dating?" asked Tom. They nod. "Knew it!" said Tom, laughing. I hug Tom and smile. "Both of us found love but Ash found it with my brother" I said. "And I'm surprised you never liked Ben" said Tom. "His my older brother too" I said. Tom kisses me and I smile. "So, grab some drinks and enjoy" I said. We go around chatting to people and then I sigh. I yawn. "Your tired, you've been like this for a month" said Tom. "I know, I will go to the doctor after this, I promise" I said. To takes out his phone. "I'm booking it for tomorrow" said Tom. I nod and he does it.

Once everyone leaves and we clean up, we go to bed. 

NEXT DAY

I wake up feeling sick. I run to the bathroom and puke. "Baby, I'll hold your hair" said Tom. I feel him moving my hair and I finish. I sit back and wipe my mouth. "Babe, come on" said Tom. I brush my teeth and my wash my face. We go get ready.

I pull on yoga pants, a matching jumper and Nike runners. I pull my hair into a bun and I go down with Tom. We have toast and water. 

We drive to the doctors and check in. 

"Hallie Mount" said the receptionist. We stand up and go inside. I sit down and the doctor smiles. "I'm Eleanor Mitchell, so what seems to be the problem?" asked Eleanor. "I've been tired constantly and today I vomited in the morning" I said. "Can I do a pregnancy test?" asked Eleanor. "Sure" I said. "Ok, so pee in this cup and I'll use a clear blue test" said Eleanor. I go do what she says. She puts the test in and lets it soak before taking it out. 

"I will do a blood test too, which will help confirm the test, those results will take 3-4 days" said Eleanor. I nod and while we wait, we do the blood retrieval. 

"OK, well congratulations! Your pregnant!" said Eleanor. We gasp and look at each other. "Wow" I said. "Obviously it will be confirmed in a few days but I would wait. Here is a list of prenatal vitamins to take while you wait" said Eleanor. I smile and thank her. We leave and go buy the prenatal vitamins. 

We get home and sit on the sofa. "We've been together 6 months, and I know this is quick but I love you and our baby" said Tom. I smile and kiss him. "I love you and I think it happened for a reason" I said, kissing him.  

We make a roast chicken dinner and then watched Blue Water High on Prime Video. At 11 we decide to go to bed. We fall asleep in each others arms. 

And their expecting a baby!
