Chapter 19: Days To Come

I seemed to stare at the rabbit that was in front of us for some time. As it was that I did in fact also lick my lips a little bit. Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case, at that.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been that way. I did in fact seem to feel much more calm and cool. And I did in fact just seem to simply go and speak back to him, all at the exact same time too.
"Okay... I think I've got it..." I did in fact just seem to say to him. As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could. And I did in fact just seem to stare at the rabbit for just a little bit longer.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to smile a bit. And I then did in fact also just seem to go and hear him speak to me, at that.
"Alright... You need to make sure that the rabbit doesn't see you... So make sure you are always in its back side... They have very big and wide eyes... So you must be fast..." He did in fact just seem to say to me.
As it was that he did in fact just seem to have said what he had said. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to stare. And I did in fact just seem to see him turn his head away from me, all at once.
He now seemed to fully have his focus on to the rabbit. As it was that it did in fact seem like I also did. As it was that I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could.
And I then did in fact just seem to see him lower him self up. As it almost did in fact seem like he was shaking and shivering a bit. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to speak to my self, all of the sudden.
"He's got this..." I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden. As it was that I did in fact just seem to believe as to just what I had said. As it was that I did in fact keep my eyes focused on what it was that he was doing.
Just as soon as it was that it did in fact just seem to be the case. That was when it was that I saw him jump at full sprint, at that. Almost as if it was that he was a rabbit him self, all at the exact same time too.
My eyes grew wide, as it was that I saw that the rabbit lifted it's head up. But it didn't seem to have a chance to save it's self at all. As by the time it did in fact realize what was going on.
The tom cat had in fact seemed to have jumped right on him. And I saw the rabbit seem to fall to the ground a a limp body. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and speak out loud, fairly loud my self.
"Wow! That was incredible! I don't think I could hunt like that!" I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to see him come over to me. As he had a proud, and a happy smile on his face, all at once.
As it was that it had just seemed to be the case once again. He then did in fact just seem to go and nod back to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I then began to start to hear him speak back to me.
"Well... I have had hundreds of moons to practice it... To be fair..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he did in fact just seem to roll his eyes at me just as it was that he had in fact said that to me.
I was a little bit surprised by just what it was that he had said. As it was that my eyes just seemed to grow wide, all at the exact same time too. And I then did in fact just seem to go and speak right back on over to him.
"Hundreds of moons... Well you don't look old at all!" I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did in fact do my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could do in the mean time.
The cat seemed to turn his head away from me as I had said that. As it was that he was clearly ignoring as to just what I had said. Which I felt like it was better for the both of us.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to look away my self. As it was that I did my best to try to act as calm as I felt like I could do. Which didn't seem to last long, as I heard the voice of the tom cat speak back to me shortly after all of that was said and done.
"Well... You go ahead and tear in to the rabbit a bit, let me know how it tastes to you... And then get a good whiff of it... To let you know when it is safe to smell a rabbit..." He did in fact just seem to say to me.
As it was that he had said as to just what he had said to me. That was when it was that I looked back at the tom cat, all at once. As it was that I did in fact just seem to see him toss the rabbit right on over to me, all at the exact same time too.
I looked at the rabbit for just a few moments, at that. As it seemed to be quite a big and juicy rabbit. As it was that I once again seemed to go and speak back to the tom cat.
"That rabbit is huge... I'm not sure if I can eat all of that..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact just seem to look back at the tom cat all of the sudden.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to have my eyes wide. As I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could do in the mean time. As in the end, I did in fact just seem to wake my self up a fair bit.
The tom cat just seemed to roll his eyes at me. As it was that he also just seemed to laugh out loud a bit. Before it was that he then seemed to go and speak back to me.
"I wasn't asking you to eat all of it... I am a bit hungry my self... But you see why I like living out here? It's easy to see every thing, and the prey is great to feed and eat..." He did in fact just seem to say to me.
He seemed to have his eyes wide just as he had said that. As he had a big smile on his face for quite a bit of some time as well. As in the end, he then did in fact just seem to also go and nod right back on over to me.
As it was that he had done as such a thing like that. As I had my eyes quite a bit wide my self. I then seemed to go and nod back on over to him, as I did in fact just seem to go and speak back to him as well.
"Alright... I think I will have to try this out my self... I will do what you told me to do... Sorry for not thinking..." I did in fact just seem to say. As I had a serious look on my face just as it was that I had in fact said that.
As I knew that I had been talking about things. That had in fact been all besides the main point of what it was that was going on. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to get my focus back on to the presence.
I seemed to take a whiff of the dead rabbit all at once. As it was that it did in fact seem to smell a bit different than a living one. As it was not that big of a difference, but it was definitely one that I could notice.
As it was that I had done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when it was that I took a bite in to the rabbit my self. As it was that my eyes seemed to go and light up with joy. As it was that I did in fact go right on ahead and speak back to him.
"Wow! This might just be the best prey that I have ever eaten! This is amazing!" I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at once. As it was that I did in fact just seem to continue to go and bite in to the prey once again.
As it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. Just as it was that I had in fact seemed to have done before. That was when it was that the tom cat then did in fact just seem to roll his eyes at me.
I was a little bit lost as to just why it was that it had been the case. As it was that I then shortly after seemed to hear him go and speak back to me. As it was that I did in fact listen as to just what it was that he had to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... Believe it or not... I do love the taste of rabbit and all... But it isn't even my favorite thing to hunt out here... Trust me, the prey out here taste a hundred times better than the prey in that two leg place." He did in fact just seem to say to me.
As it was that he had his eyes wide as it was that he had said that. It was clear that he was being for real with me. As if it was that he was worried that I was having second doubts.
It was some thing that he didn't need to worry about what so ever. As it was that I did in fact just seem to roll my eyes back at him. And I then did in fact just seem to also go and speak back to him, at that.
"Well... I am sure that it is... But I think rabbits are going to be my favorite until I taste some thing that tastes new and better to me..." I did in fact just seem to say to the tom cat.
As it was that I made sure that he did in fact not have to worry. As to the fact that it was that I wanted to go back to my home. As it was that I knew that it was the furthest place that I wanted to be right now.
As it was that I had seemed to have thought on that. That was when it was that the tom cat seemed to dip his head low to the ground. And he then also did in fact seem to go and speak back to me shortly after that.
"Well... You go and finish that off... And then we should probably head back to your home... For now... It is going to be late by the time we head back..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all of the sudden.
As it was that I saw that his eyes were still wide. Just as soon as it was that he had in fact said that to me. As it was that I kind of shivered just as it was that I had heard him say that.
It was clear that he didn't want to be out here in the dark. As it was that it did in fact just seem to raise some questions to me. As it was that I did in fact just seem to simply go and speak back to him.
"So... Why can't we stay out here then? I am just curious... How is a cat supposed to live out here? Is it really dangerous or some thing?" I did in fact just seem to say to the tom cat.
My eyes were squinted at him just as it was that I had said that. As I felt like there was in fact some thing that he was not telling me about this all. As it was that I did my best to act as calm as I felt like I could.
The tom cat just seemed to stare back at me for a few moments. Before it was that he then also seemed to shake his head back at me. As it was that I then did in fact also seem to hear him speak back to me too.
"Well... It is very dangerous for us to be a group of 2... There are some dangerous creatures that come out during the night... They hunt in packs and look for any thing that might be weak..." He did in fact just seem to say to me.
As it was that he had said as to just what it was that he had said. That was when it was that I felt like I couldn't help but to get upset. As it was that I did in fact once again have my eyes squinted at him. As in the end, I then did in fact also just seem to go and speak back to him.
"Weak? Do you think I am weak? I can fight off what ever comes our way..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact make sure that he knew I was being serious with what it was that I had said.
I almost expected him to laugh at me on what I had said. As it was clear to me that he didn't agree with me. But he in stead seemed to have a worried look on his own face.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I then began to see him shake his head back at me. As well as the fact that he then went and spoke back to me shortly after that.
"Yes... You are strong... But you are not strong enough to fight off a pack of wild beast Dust... And I wouldn't be here in the night... A group of 10 cats would scare them away... But a solo cat would not be able to..." He did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I calmed my nerves a bit. As it was that I realized that the tom cat was not taking shots at me. And he did in fact not view me as some sort of weak cat at all.
I was not too sure why I would have even thought so. When it was that I knew that he had told me that he had chosen me. Because he had seem as to just how strong I was, all at the exact same time too.
I did in fact just seem to let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self. Though I still felt like I had a few questions that I had to get out of the way. As it was that I then did in fact go right on ahead and speak back to him.
"Well... How do rogues make it out here in the wild then? If there is no where safe for them to be?" I did in fact just seem to say to him. As it was that I did in fact just seem to have a serious look on my face as I had said that, none the less.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that the tom cat did in fact just seem to roll his eyes at me. As it was that he then also began to let out a bit of a rough sigh as well.
As it was that it had seemed like he had done as such a thing like that. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to tilt my head. As it was that I then also began to start to hear him go and speak back to me, all at the exact same time too.
"Well... They usually hide some where like an old two leg place... Or some where else safe during the night... Big groups of cats don't have to worry about that... And you don't have a big group... Yet..." He did in fact just seem to say.
As it was clear to me that he was once again being for real. And he was letting me know how it was that things were to go. As it was that I knew that he was in fact not being harsh on me what so ever.
As it was that it had seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I just then seemed to let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self. Just as it was that I had in fact seemed to have done a few moments ago.
Once it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. In the end, I did in fact just seem to simply nod back to the tom cat. As it was that I then also began to go and speak back to him, all of the sudden.
"So... I need to find a big group of cats that are out here... Got it..." I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I had my eyes wide just as it was that I had said that to him.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that he seemed to roll his eyes at me once again. As it was that I was in fact quite a bit lost as to just why he had done as such a thing like that.
As it was that it still seemed to have just been the case. In the end, I did in fact just seem to shake my head back at the tom cat. As it was that he then did in fact just seem to go and speak back to me, at that.
"Well... First... You need to learn how to live out in the wild... Learn how to hunt... Learn what is safe and not safe... If you want to go and lead a group like that..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at once.
As it was that it seemed like he was going straight on in. On to the fact that it was that he expected me to lead a group, at that. As it was that I did in fact once again have my eyes wide, just as I had been before.
I knew as to the fact that it was what I wanted my self. But still, I couldn't help but to feel like I was a little bit lost and confused. As it was that I did in fact just seem to have my head a little bit low to the ground.
As it was that it seemed to have been the case for a little bit longer. That was when it was that I simply let out a much rougher, and louder sigh. As it was that I also then began to go and speak back to him finally.
"Alright... I think I under stand it a little bit more... I think I am ready to go back home... If you think that I am not ready for this..." I did in fact just seem to say back to him, all at once.
The tom cats mouth did in fact just seem to open wide. As it was that it did in fact seem like he was about to say some thing back to me. But what ever it was, he seemed to just simply hold it in, all at once.
As it was that he then did in fact just seem to go and shake his head. As it was that he also then just seemed to look back. As to just where it was that we had in fact came from, all at the exact same time too.
"It doesn't matter right now Dust... You will know when you are ready... But you are not ready yet... So let's just go back to your home..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at the exact same time as well.
As it was that he had said as to just what it was that he had said to me. I then did in fact just seem to once again shake my head. As it was that I did in fact also just seem to nod a bit, all at the exact same time too.
It was a bit of a confusing tone that I was acting like right now. But either way, it didn't seem to matter to me what so ever. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and speak to my self quietly, all at once.
"I still feel like I have a lot of questions that need answers..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self. As it was that I did in fact just seem to squint my eyes below me. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact said as to just what it was that I had said.
As it was that it had seemed to have been the case for some time. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to think. On to why it was that the tom cat had told me he couldn't be out past dark.
I did in fact just seem to think on that for a bit of some time. As it was that I felt like I also had questions as to how he could be alive for so long. When it was that he didn't really look old to me what so ever.
But I felt like those answers would have to come some other time. As it was that I did in fact just seem to get my eyes back on to him. As it was that he did in fact just seem to go and speak back to me, once again.
"Well... I hope that you had a good day today Dust... Because it is going to be just as fun for the days to come..."
