Several weeks passed. The shooting was going great. Despite being historical fiction, it turned out to be a really fun film to shoot. Catherine had a great time with Greta and Valeria, as usual. She also hit it off with Marie, who saw her almost as a mentor. Best of all, she and Mike only interacted when the camera was filming. Catherine thought maybe Kevin had intimidated him. Who would have thought that the same person who had lifted a weight off her shoulders would cause her tremendous distress? Lately she couldn't quite define how she felt about Kevin. They had a cordial relationship, but every once in a while there would be a brush, a smile, a look that would make her head spin. When this happened, Catherine kept telling herself that it couldn't be. The problem is that doubts assailed her, more and more frequently.

One Friday afternoon like any other, Catherine was in her living room, doing nothing in particular. Just then, Lizzie came into the living room "Mommy, I need help."

"Sure, honey. What do you need?" said Catherine crouching down in front of her daughter.

"The teacher sent us homework. We have to talk about a topic in front of the whole class.""Oh, I see. And what do you have to talk about?"

"About how our parents met."

Catherine was quiet for a few seconds "Okay."

"I'm going to ask Dad tonight, too. But for now, you can tell me about it."

"Well, you see. When Grandpa James and Grandma divorced, Aunt Greta and I moved from New York to Kentucky to live with Grandpa James and Emma. The first day of my junior year of high school, I met your dad."

"Where did you two meet?"

"At the drama club. I was late for the first meeting and was very disturbed. But when I saw him..." she was silent for a few seconds "I couldn't think of anything else."

"And then?"

"Then we became friends. Dad went to the same class as Aunt Greta, so she helped us get closer and closer. And then one day, out of sudden, we began dating."

"Dad told me you lived together in Florida."

"Yes, for a while. It was the ideal place for anyone who wanted to go into performing. And that's why we moved there."

"Grandma Ann brought over boxes full of pictures at Christmas. And you're in a lot of them." Catherine suddenly looked at her daughter" They were all very pretty. But my favorite is one that Daddy showed me the other day, when I told him about the homework I have to do. It was the two of you on prom night. Dad told me you looked beautiful that day. I thought so too."
