Toni
I sat in my home office going over the paperwork for the new business. Miyah and Lia have decided that they want to start a business together for fashion together and Janet and I decided to get them started. They were going to call it 'Be You' or something. I can't remember, but they're really excited about it. They've been coming up with designs and business plans everyday.

They were nervous at first to come and talk to me about it because they thought we would think they were too young to start a business, but this is exactly what we wanted for them so that we can set them up for a good life. So I was talking with a lot of my connections and investors to get them going.

"Hey, mama." I looked up from my paperwork to see who came in. It was Tommy.

"What's up?"

"Can we talk?" I took my glasses off.

"Sure. How'd you get in?"

"Umm..I asked mom if I could sit in here for a little while. It gets hot over there in the middle of the day."

"Okay." He sat down. "What's up?"

"Umm.." He looked down. "I just wanted to apologize." I was neutral on this because I wanted to make sure he meant it and wasn't just saying it to get out of trouble.

"Alright."

"I just...uhhh...I've been alone in the room for a while and it's given me a lot of time to think. I didn't realize how much I hurt the family by behaving the way I did."
His voice began to shake. "I..uhhh..I don't know what's going on with me. I mean I have a theory, but I truly don't know and I just...uhh...I didn't know how to deal with it but it wasn't fair to take that out on you guys."

"Tommy.."

"Let me finish. The other day, I thought about what you said about mom and how you were upset with me because I hurt your wife. I didn't get it until two days ago. I never put you guys in the position of being someone outside of my parents so I thought it wasn't a big deal, but it is. I'm so sorry." I was taken back as he cried.

"Son, that was very big of you. I respect and forgive you."

"Thanks." I stood up and went to him.

"Come on." He stood up and I hugged him. I laid his head on my shoulder. "It's okay. The important thing is you realize your mistakes. You're young and can still fix them. The fact that you came in here and apologized to me is big." I pulled away and got him some tissue.

"Do you think mom will forgive me?"

"I'm sure she will. But you have to understand that it's going to take her a little longer."

"Why?"

"She actually held out hope for you the longest. So when she decided to just let you do you, it hurt her. She practically grieved you guys' relationship. It's going to be hard to turn that around."

"Before going to her. I suggest fixing your most important relationships."

"With who?"

"Your siblings, particularly TJ. You two shared a womb. You've been together literally since day one. There is no relationship in the world you need more. That is going to be the longest relationship you ever have. No woman, no friends, not even us as your parents. No one will understand you more. You need to fix that." He nodded.

"Okay."

"Good, but I am proud of you for maning up and doing that."

"Thanks." He hugged me again.

Third Person
"Miyah, we should do this. What do you think?" Amelia held up a design she drew for an outfit.

"Oh that's so cute, we can do it as like a twin collection."
