Kara's pov:

"Something has to be causing this." I said pacing back and forth.

"Kara, nothing is wrong. I told you. You're safe at home." My mother said

"This is not my home. My home is back on.." i paused trying to remember where. "Back on.. Earth!" I said finally remembering.

"Earth is thousands of light years away. And why would i ever sent you to that primitive planet?" My mother said shaking her head no.

My breathing got heavier again, panicking, i left the room and rushed through the hallways trying to find a way out.

Until.. i was stopped by my.. father and mother.
"Father?" I said then looked at my mother who was behind him. "No. No, this is.. Cannot be real. This is not real. This is not real." I repeated then rushed away again trying to find an exit.

I then turned to the room i was before seeing my father and mother together. "It's the fever again." I then looked down on the floor.

"I remember playing right there. And i made this crack" i said running to a table where a crack i made is. "When i tripped chasing after Aunt Astra." I said then stood up.

"Yet, even after you get, you got right back up again." A voice was heard. It was my aunt Astra.

"Nothing can keep you down." She said walking down the stairs.

"You did this to me! You, you did this to me!" I said grabbing her collar with both my hands.

"Kara, stop!" I heard my mother.

"No! I understand now. You and Non are behind this." I said backing away from Astra.

"Non? But he was banished to the Phantom Zone ages ago." My father said.

"No, i fought both of you days ago back on.." i paused again. "Why can't i remember?" I asked

"All nightmares end the longer we are awake." My mother stated

"No, wait.. i still.. i still feel it. I have glimpses of.. flying." I said trying to recall everything.

"We only got in our dreams, Kara." Astra said.

"I have friends there who need me. Family.." i said then heard a young male voice.

"Kara." I turned around and saw a young version of Kal-El.

"Kal-El." I said. He was holding something in his hands. (Don't remember what it was called.)

I walked up to him "do you remember how to open it?" He said and i took it and unlocked it

There revealed a solar system and had revealed Krypton. "Look Kara. There's Krypton. Isn't it beautiful?" He asked.

"So beautiful." I said and admired it.

Y/n's pov:

I changed my clothes into a darkish cream high waist trouser and a white buttoned up long sleeve and white heels.

I went down to the living where Sam was. "Do you always wear suits?" She joked.

I shrugged in response. "Sam, i know you're checking up on me, but i really have a busy schedule." I said turning to her.

"That's okay. I'm staying in National City for a couple of months." She said then grabbed her bag.

We then hugged again before she left. I sighed when the door closed. My phone rang and when i answered it, it was Alex.

I got to the DEO using my car almost running 3 red lights from speeding. I walked in the isolation room where James and Winn are.

Alex had already told me about the creature called the Black Mercy and how to get it off Kara.

Kara was still there on a table unconscious, with that hideous thing on her doing who knows what in her mind.

I was pacing back and forth waiting for Alex to come in and bring her back.

Max came in with things in his hands.
He looked at me with a smile "Y/n Grant."he said to me

"What the hell are you doing here, Max?" I asked but before he could answer Alex came in and asked for me. We went outside of the isolation room "I need a favor." Alex started.

"Name it." I said pacing my hands on my hips.

"I know Director Henshaw. If he thinks I'm in trouble when I'm plugged into that thing, he's going to pull me out, whether I've saved Kara or not. I need you to stop him. I either come back with my sister, or i don't come back at all." She said making me nod.

"Please be careful. And get Kara back." I said and she nodded in response.

She walked back in the isolation room with me following behind. I glared at Max who was preparing some tech.

"The helmet with instantly connect you to Supergirl's consciousness. That will allow you to experience whatever's going on in Supergirl's head in real time. It's pretty brilliant actually." Max said.

"Remember, you have to get Supergirl to reject this fantasy herself." Henshaw said.

"Come on, Kara." I whispered to her unconscious body.

I then walked next to Winn and leaned on the wall crossing my arms.

Max them placed the helmet on Alex. Alex laid down next to Kara on the table.

We waited, and waited. "We're losing her. Pull her out now!" Henshaw said to Max.

"Sorry Supergirl. Guess it just wasn't your day." Max then tried to pulled Alex out but i stopped his hands from going anymore near her.

"I can't let you do that." I said making Henshaw react.

"Grant. Get out of his way." Henshaw warned pulling out a gun with 2 agents pointing guns at me. I didn't let go.

I looked at Henshaw "Pull her out and we lose Kara and might not even have another chance of getting her back!" I said "Think of what Alex would do if you did. She would lose her sister. We would lose Kara. All of us. Give her more time." Henshaw paused then placed his gun back.

"I am the one responsible for her safety. This is on my head, Grant!" He yelled.

"Then i am to blame as well." I said "Alex is willing to risk her life to save her sister. As much as i want to pull her out, I can't! We lose both of them if you do. She asked me to stop you." I said.

"What?" He asked

"She knew that you would react this way if things went bad. So she told me to stop you because she wants to save her sister." I explained.

"You think i don't want that? I want them both back. More than anything." He said

"I know. But i also know, if you do choose to pull her out. You would still lose both of them. And you know that." I said

"I can't lose her." He said.

"You won't. Trust me on this. You have to trust Alex." I said and he gave in and called his agents off. And all we could do was wait.
