Kara's pov:
"Just one more thing I've got to get ang then we can- Ker-ah, you're alive." I said to Barry before getting cut off by Ms. Grant.
"Ms. Grant, don't worry, I was rescued." I said walking in her office.
"Stop saying the obvious. You're in the middle of breaking news and i want you to act like it. And yes, yes, another one of my ex-employees went all revenge-y. But.." she then turned her laptop to us. The screen was shown of Barry saving me. Winn, James And Y/n then came in. "There's a new superhero in National City. This is huge. Direct competition for Supergirl."
"He doesn't have to be competition." I said.
"Would you prefer a sidekick?" She asked.
"No, not a sidekick. More like an equal. It all ally. Even a partner, maybe." Barry spoke. Cat just stared him down. "Speaking was the wrong choice. I see that now."
"All five of you standing there doing nothing. You look like the attractive yet nonthreatening, racially diverse cast of a CW show. Who are you?" Cat said.
"He's my cousin" I said in panic. And James and Winn did too in panic. I could hear my girlfriend snickering a little bit, making me hold back a laugh.
"No. My name's Barry Allen. I'm not actually anybody's cousin. We're just such good friends." Barry said.
"Yeah. It feels like we're family sometimes." I said making the 2 guys chuckle.
"Uh-huh." Cat said before closing her laptop and turning it back to her. "Well. I need a clear picture of this speedster. James, that's on you. And Ker-ah, there are a lot of people who wanna know what happened. Speak to no one. You're mine. I will let you know when you should reveal this exclusive information. Now, i have to name this hero. I was thing about 'The Whoosh' or ''The Red Streak'' or "The Blur.'' Cat said.
"What about The Flash?" Barry suggested. "I'm just saying, i think that's a pretty cool superhero name. Right?"
"The Flash? Sounds like someone whose only superpower is jumping out of an alley in a trench coat. No, i want mystery, i want intrigue, i want The Blur." Cat said.
"Be gone." Cat said and we left.
An hour later, I'm doing my work, when Lucy called. "Lucy? I.. okay." Lucy told me that Livewire escaped. So, i walked in Ms. Grant's office. "Ms. Grant, you have to leave now." I said.
"Ker-ah, i thought i told you to tell Bernie Sanders that i am not interested in hot yoga." Cat said.
"No, no. Livewire has escaped. She could be anywhere now, but you know where she'll come eventually. So head home and pack. I will arrange a car to take you, Y/n and Carter to the airport and a plane, and guards. I will take care of all the escape arrangements." I said. I didn't want Y/n to go, but if Livewire escaped she's most likely take either Cat or Y/n. I can't risk her getting hurt.
"I'm not going anywhere. I beat her once, I'll beat her again. Fine. I had help. I'll have help again. National City may have lost faith is Supergirl, but i haven't. And you shouldn't either." She said.
"Ms. Grant, please.." i begged.
"Staying put." Cat said. I went to the guys on what we now call our meeting room.
"I need your help." I said walking in.
"Anything you need." James immediately said. I noticed my girlfriend look at him weirdly.
"Yeah, of course." Winn said.
"I was actually talking to Barry." I said.
Barry stood up from his seat. "Yeah. Yeah, what can i do?" He asked.
"Well, i have this villain. Her name is Livewire. And she's basically like living electricity." I explained.
"Cool. We have a rogue like that. We call him Blackout." Barry's smile then faded "Doesn't feel relevant, all of a sudden."
"Right. So she just broke out of this prison. And-" i was cut off to James sitting on the couch that was covered with plastics causing for it to make noise.
3rd person pov:
As James sat down on the couch, he was angry and jealous. Y/n and Winn could see it. Y/n just rolled her eyes at him then continued to listen to Kara.
"And all she wasn't out of life is too kill Ms. Grant or Y/n. And with Siobhan still out there, i don't think i could protect them by myself." Kara mentioned Y/n.
"Wait, why does she want to kill me? I don't even know her." Y/n asked.
Kara turned to Y/n. "Well, you are Ms. Grant's daughter. And if she can't kill Ms. Grant, she might go after you." Kara explained. She then turned back to Barry. "National City needs The Flash."
"Oh, Kara, I- And once they're both back in custody, i promise you that we will do everything in our power to get you back home." Before Barry could answer Kara cut him off. "What do you say?" She asks.
Barry smiled a little. Kara reached her hand out for a hand shake. "Partners?" She asks.
"Partners."
