Kara's pov:
James contacted Lucy and told him to meet us at my apartment. Moments later we heard a knock on the door.
James opened the door and Lucy was stood out there. He stepped aside to let her in. "I don't have time for this." Lucy said walking in.
"So you're back in the army." James said closing the door.
"And you're back in Kara's loft. I guess nothing's really changed for either of us." Lucy said. I looked at them confused on what she meant. "Just tell me what was so important that i had to come here. What is this all about?"
I got up from my seat and and walked up to her. "There's something you need to know." I said and showed her my superhero suit under revealing the House of El symbol. She gasped as i took my glasses off.
Lucy then glanced at James then at me. "It all makes sense now. I just didn't want to put it together. I didn't want it to be true." She chuckled.
I was so confused on what she meant. What was she talking about? "What do mean?" I asked.
Lucy looked at James again. "I think i should let you two talk about that." She said. I looked at James.
"Lucy, you're the only person that can stop Hank and Alex from being sent to Cadmus." James said.
"Why would i help her? Her and Hank. Why do you all lie?" She asked.
"When you're an alien, and you've lost your world and you're dropped into a new one, you don't have a choice. When you are an alien, you're willing to sacrifice anything, everything, betray your fundamental instincts just to fit in. To belong somewhere, to find your place in this world." I explained while buttoning up my shirt.
"If you have a problem fitting in, is because you lie to people of who you really are." Lucy said
"Lucy, are you really winning to let Hank become a science experiment? And who knows what they have planned for Alex." James said.
"I know you're feeling betrayed and alone. But if you go along with Jim Harper, just to feel like you fit in, to feel like you really belong somewhere, ultimately, the only person you're betraying is yourself. It wasn't easy for me to show you who I really am, but i for it because i trust who you are, who you really are under that uniform. And i trust you'll do the right thing." I said.
She sighed then nodded. I smiled at her in a way of saying thank you. We then came up with a plan on how to get them out of there.
-timeskip-
Me and Lucy are on motorcycles chasing down the truck. They shoot at me only for it to bounce off my body.
We finally got the truck to stop. We got off our bikes and i sped to one of the guards and knocked him out.
I took off my helmet and so did Lucy. Alex and J'onn walked out of the truck. Alex had told me that Jeremiah was alive. "We're gonna get him back." J'onn said.
"I'm coming with you." I said.
"I'm a fugitive now. I'm on the run." Alex said.
"Let me take you to the Fortress of Solitude where you'll be safe. Let me find Jeremiah." I said not wanting my sister getting hurt.
"Kara, i have to do this." She said making me look down on the ground. "Hey, have faith in me, like i have in you." She said.
"What am i gonna do without you?" I asked in a whisper.
"You don't need me. You never have." She said.
"No. Well, you still took care of me anyway." I said.
"Yeah, look how great you turned out." She said making me tear up."Plus, you still have that date with Y/n you were super excited about." We both laughed a little.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too." I pulled her into a hug and a tear dropped from my eye.
We pulled away after a few seconds. "Don't worry. She'll be okay." J'onn said.
"I know. She has you. We both have you." I said.
"Now go. Don't want to be late on your date." Alex joked. Both J'onn and Alex put their helmets on and and drove away.
