Part 33 - I'm gonna miss them so much

Arriving at the meeting point, Simon and Wille are already waiting for us. "Hey" Wille hugs me. "Thanks for redeeming" "For you we will do anything" I grin. "I still have something for you" I go back to the car and take out the bag. "Parting gift from the rugby team" I give it to Simon. Wille looks in curiously.

"Oh yeah, I'm supposed to tell you that you should kindly get a rugby team, rowing is overrated and boring." "Friendly" Simon grins. He pulls one of the two rugby balls out of the bag. "Does it seriously have all the names on it?" "Yes. They don't want you to forget them" I laugh. "We definitely won't" Wilhelm smiles. At that moment, two more cars come into the square.

Oscar and another bodyguard get out of one, and Wille's parents get out of the other. They're coming our way. "I think we have to say goodbye" "I don't want to" "Me neither" "Do you think I want to?!" "We can't change it" "Unfortunately" I hug Wille for a long time, then I go to Simon and do the same. I feel a little offended that while hugging my mother, Wille rolls a small tear down his cheek and while he hugs me, it didn't. Wow, that sounds so jealous.

"We have to go" says Oscar in the direction of Wille and Simon and after a short hesitation comes over to us and says goodbye. Wilhelm takes the bag that Simon put on the floor and slowly walks away. Simon goes with him and takes his hand. Both turn around and wave at us. "See you in a few weeks!" then they disappear into a building. Charlie rests his head on my shoulder and looks after them with tears in his eyes. "I will miss them so much" "Me too"

Pov Wilhelm
We sit together on the plane and just wait for my mother. Suddenly I hear a soft sob coming from Simon's direction. "Are you crying?" I look questioningly at Simon, who is sitting with his back to me. He shakes his head. "Look at me" he slowly turns to me. I've never seen him cry like this before. But I have to say, I don't look any different.

We look at each other and start laughing, the situation is just too funny. At that moment my mother comes in and looks from me to Simon and back again. "You look really great" she laughs. I put my head on Simon's shoulder and just keep crying. When you see the whole thing, it must look very entertaining.

And despite all the incidents, England was one of the best times of my life and it was also very important for me and Simon. All of this has made us even stronger. And I'm really looking forward to seeing Nick and Charlie again.
