"What is required of you in relation to the cook book?" Kudsiya questioned Rooh, who was looking for a strawberry shortcake recipe at the time.

"They have been hankering after human food for a time, so I'm smuggling this to Mars." Rooh replied while scowling. On the first day of school, she made the acquaintance of Kudsiya, with whom she had been hanging around ever since.

Kudsiya bared her teeth, arched her top lip, and cast a grating glance Rooh's way.

"Tauba, Astagfaar!! Kudsiya, you look like a hyena!" Rooh said snorting. Kudsiya smacked her head with the back of her hand rolling her green eyes.

IN HER ROOM....

Rooh was attempting to remember the recipe when her phone began to vibrate. It was her mother.

"Salam mama, how are you doing?"

"Walikumasalam alpha, How are you doing? Are you all right? Are you content? Are they treating you well?" She asked all at once.

" Everything is fine, mother.I really miss you guys."

She spoke with her mother for a few minutes before heading to the kitchen.

"How long is this trip?" Chachi inquired of Anabiya.

"It's only  two weeks, mama. And I'm going. I don't know what more to say." Anabiya squealed like a young child.

"OK, if your father allows it, I won't interfere." Sighing, Chachi said.

"He has already agreed." Anabiya exclaimed.

Rooh made a mental note to inquire about it with Anabiya later, but first she needed to perfect the recipe.

She went into the kitchen and arranged the recipe book on the counter so she could read it properly. Both her hair and the apron were tied back. She was totally pumped up. She took a look at her creation after an hour; whipped cream was streaming like lava from a volcano. Even the biscuits appeared out of proportion on the straw berry stack on top, but that wasn't the worst thing she could have done—she might have done something even more awful.

She placed the 'not very cake like' cake on the counter top after wiping the perspiration from her brow with her sleeve. She finally located a spoon after searching many cabinets. She cut into the cake, took a spoonful, and gave it a taste. She hummed "mhmmmmm" in contentment.

It doesn't taste at all unpleasant! I need to work on my presentation a little bit.

After a week, Rooh can now make a strawberry shortcake with her eyes shut.

There was still a week till Zaviyaan's arrival, and Anabiya had already left for the trip on Monday. She decided to start learning how to make butter chicken as of today.Plan failures are inevitable, though, right?

Because she was browsing for the best recipes online last night, Rooh awoke a little later than usual. Her eyes were suddenly covered in huge a$$ dark circles.

MEANWHILE...

Zaviyaan was waiting for Ali to complete packing his baggage while he was still busy. "I'm contacting home to let them know we're returning."

After Zaviyaan stated it, Ali grabbed him and tried to steal his phone."Plz don't tell anyone yet, Bhai. We'll surprise them."

"You're such a child," Shaking his head, Zaviyaan stated.

"Anything you say, bhai." He wished to verify the veracity of what he had observed.

When they were currently in the air, Ali abruptly questioned Zaviyaan, "What do you think about Rooh, bhai?"

His inquiry caught Zaviyaan off guard, and instinctively he began to think of a certain honeyed female who had the audacity to annoy him and cause his heart to flutter. He suddenly exhaled and shook his head.

He said, "Nothing."

"However,  I think she might have a special place for you in her heart." Fueling the fire, Ali remarked. Zaviyaan turned abruptly to face Ali.

"Bullshit. She is essentially a baby because she is even younger than you."

Zaviyaan spoke while shuddering at the idea. With a smile barely caressing his lips, Ali closed his eyes. "It's good to know you'll never view her in that manner."

He sighed and spoke gently. Zaviyaan nodded resolutely, more successfully persuading himself than Ali.
