I gasped as soon as the staff opened the door towards the garden. The place was calming, the sound of the violin plays endlessly making the atmosphere relaxing and romantic. The small lights were lit, the cold breeze of December brushed against our skin, the trees were swaying with the wind and the white roses were planted beside the path. We followed the path, I was roaming my eyes around, admiring the beauty of the place when I felt Ash hands intertwined to mine.

We stopped walking when we reached the end of the path. The sun was already setting, the place started getting dark. I smiled while I watch the sunset until the sky became dark and the moon started to lit the place.

"Wow." I gasped when I saw that this place was overlooking the city light.

"Ang ganda." Bulong ko. I looked at Ash while smiling and saw that he was staring at me.

My smile faded and my eyes landed on our intertwined hands. I tried to remove it but he held on it tighter.

"Avery." He started. He diverted his eyes somewhere, I him clenched his jaw and bowed his head.

"I.. I don't know how to apologize for all the things I've done. I know I've hurt you for a long time and you struggled alone, I.. I was a jerk. I'm sorry."

I pressed my lips to stop myself from crying but my eyes started to get blurry and the next thing I knew, my tears were running uncontrollably from my eyes.

"I pushed you away, I tried to replace you, I left you alone just because I can't understand anything. I will understand if you will hate me, I understand if you will leave me, I know I deserve that." A tear fell from his eyes, he faced me and held my both hands.

"I..I don't hate you Ash. I never did." I answered.

"I know I hurted you too, I was selfish to hide everything from you just to make you stay." My voice broke while saying those words, he held on my hand tighter and shook his head.

"I should've understood you better. I know we can no longer change anything that happened, but thank you for giving justice to my father. You..you don't know how happy I am."

He pulled me and hugged me tight. Only the sound of the violin covered the whole place, it was indeed perfect and beautiful.

"I'm happy for you Ash." I hugged him back tightly, I burried my face to his chest and closed my eyes.

I've been through hell this past few day, I almost gave up, I almost ended everything but his hug made me regret that I thought about ending my life. Although I was not a hundred percent mentally stable right now, but atleast it was a lot more bearable now that Ash was here, I know I won't be alone anymore.

He let go of the hug and cupped my face.

"Avery.." He whispered. "I know it may be too late, or this might not be the right time for you, but..." He paused and stared to my eyes.

"Can you give me another chance to be with you?"

Suddenly, there were fireworks as soon as he said those words, the violin changed into a love song.

My mouth slowly opened, my tears stopped, my heart stopped for a moment until it went really fast inside my chest. No words seems to come out of my mouth.

He gulped, waiting for my answer, brushing my cheek with his thumb gently.

"Please." He whispered.

"P-paano si Jewell?" I asked.

God knows how I love Ash and would take any chances to be with him but I wouldn't be selfish. I'm not a brat anymore, I can't be with someone who was still committed to a relationship.
