It's been 2 years since that day.

It's been a rough and ugly 2 years of my life, I fought depression really hard, there were times I almost gave up but my friends were always there, especially Ash, who promised to never leave my side. It was bearable because he was there the entire time.

Jonas was the one to managed all the business while I was recovering, half of the assets that were given to me were donated to charities while the other half was used to start a new life.

Jonas and I established different kinds of business, including a law firm which is co-managed by him and Xav.

Xav became an instant celebrity and top rated lawyer since that case happened, and all I knew was there was something going on between him and Zeph although they have yet to admit that to us.

Jordan was a successful business who managed almost all the business left by his parents. He was so busy that he don't even had time for girls.

While I..

I am officially free from depression. I had moved on, I had managed to get through it and I couldn't be any happier.

I let Jonas teach me about the business slowly, from the most basic to intermidiate knowledges. I was busy for almost 3 months, that I never had the chance to see Ash. He was busy running his business too because his mother decided to fly across the world to her so called 'world-tour', probably to move on from everything that has happened in the past.

I flinched when Jonas suddenly threw his pen at me, it hit my head so I glared at him.

"What the hell?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko. He raised his brow and pointed at his powerpoint presentation.

"Nakikinig ka ba?" Inis na tanong nito. Huminga ako ng malalim at ipinatong ang baba sa aking kamay.

"I'm tired. Ikaw nalang kaya ang magpatakbo ng business, I trust you!" I suggested. Umirap ito at umupo.

"Madam, I plan to retire at age 60. I won't be beside you at all times." Sagot nito. I pouted and got sad just by the thought of Jonas retiring from service.

"I can give you half of the company ownership." I suggested. He scoffed, rolled his eyes.

"I don't plan--" It was too late when I handed him a folder. He took it and read everything written on it.

Unti unting bumuka ang bibig nito, nanlaki ang kanyang mata at pabalik balik ang tingin sa akin at sa hawak niyang papel.

"W-what? You can't do this!" He shouted, still shocked from what he was reading.

Yes, I literally awarded him half of the company.

"I do. I already did. Xav was the one who drafted that so it was all legal."

I chuckled just by looking at him. Hindi ko alam kung masaya siya o galit, he was loss for words.

"Did you do this so you don't have to manage anything and so that you don't have to study all of this?" He asked confused. I pressed my lips and nodded slowly.

"I don't actually care about this Jonas. I know you won't always be here with me but I want to keep you and thank you this way. This is something that wouldn't end by your retirement day, this is something that you can pass on your generation. I could never think of ways to thank you enough but this way, I know I could thank you and even thank all the generations after you."

He stood up and suddenly hugged me tight. I hugged him back.

Jonas was the only family I had now.

After that, I left him to fix everything and he went home to spread to his family the good news.
