"Tara na kasi!" Pamimilit ko kay Ash. Kanina ko pa siya pinipilit na samahan ako magreview at kumain. But he was ignoring me.

"No." He answered.

"Fine." Inis na sabi ko. Tumingin ako kay Zephany but she was busy talking with Jordan. I guess they're already having a good time.

"Hintayin mo nalang ako dito. Okay?" Hindi siya tumingin at patuloy lang sa pagbabasa ng libro niya. God, I'm going crazy!

Lumabas ako sa room at nagtungo sa cafeteria. I was really hungry and I need some sugars to relieve my stress.

Habang naglalakad ay napadaan ako sa bulletin board, may mga announcements doon kaya binasa ko ito.

Nakasulat yung date ng Prelims and after prelims ay isang Acquaintance ball.

'Find your date and let's have some fun!' Yun ang title ng announcement para sa acquaintance ball.

Nilibot ko pa ang paningin ko sa bulletin board at may specific section doon na may nakalagay na, "LOVER's CORNER". I can't believe na may mga gantong bagay pala rito sa school na ito. May mga nakalagay na photos doon na mga couples pero ni isa wala naman akong kakilala kaya umalis na ako at nagpatuloy maglakad sa cafeteria.

I just ordered Oreo cheesecake strawberry cheesecake, and two bottles of water. Nilagay naman lahat iyon sa paper bag ng crew kaya hindi na ako nahirapan na bitbitin iyon.

Pabalik na sana ako sa room when my attention was caught by a group of girls, they all looked like a model lalo na yung nasa pinaka-unahan. She has a very curvy body, her hair was long and curly, sobrang ganda niya to be exact but I don't care. Mas maganda ako.

I just rolled my eyes, I think they were the school's model.

Bumalik na ako sa classroom at naabutan sila na kanya kanya parin ang ginagawa. Zeph and Jordan were still talking while some of my blockmates were reviewing their notes.

Lumapit ako kay Ash na nagbabasa parin.

Nilabas ko ang binili ko at inabot sa kanya.

"I need this right now." Bulong ko at sinimulan ng kainin yung oreo cheesecake ko. Napailing na lamang si Ash at sinimulan na din kainin yung binigay ko.

"I saw group of models awhile ago. Bagay rin kaya sakin model?" Tanong ko kay Ash he just looked at me boredly.

"Hindi bagay." Walang ganang sagot niya. I laughed sarcastically.

"Salamat ah, thanks for boosting my self confidence." Sarkastikong sagot ko. Inirapan ko siya at nagsimula ng kumain ulit.

"Tomorrow's Saturday, review tayo ah!" Paalala ko sa kanya.

"No." Sagot niya.

"Yes at wala kang magagawa. Meet me at the city park at 4pm." Pinal na saad ko.

"Bakit ba ang kulit mo?" Naiiritang tanong niya. Sasagot pa sana ako pero dumating na yung professor namin. Itinabi ko ang kinakain kong cheesecake at uminom na ng tubig.

"Goodafternoon everyone." Bati ng professor.

"First I would like to give the pointers to review." She handed us a printed paper kung saan nakasulat mga kailangan namin review-hin.

"The exam would be 100 items in total, and 85 would be the passing grade." I heard my blockmates groan in annoyance, this is Accounting subject and she was expecting us to commit just 15 mistakes? What the hell.

"And by the way, for our new student, mind to introduce yourself?" Everyone looked at Jordan, he stood up immediately and smiled at everyone.

"I'm Jordan Jace Davis, nice meeting you." He introduced himself, some girls were drooling over him. He take his seat and the professor just nodded at him.

"You will be exempted from the Prelim exam but make sure to cope up immediately." Tumango naman siya sa professor.

"And after your prelim exam, you need to submit your project."

"What the fuck." I whispered. Napatingin lang ako kay Ash at mukhang wala naman siyang paki samantalang halos magreklamo na kaming lahat. Umingay sa loob ng room, some were complaining and some were asking what's the project.

"Quiet!" The prof shouted.

"I'll be giving you two options." She started.

"It's either you will submit a research paper, or you will attend the acquaintance ball. You don't have to submit your project if you will attend the acquaintance ball." Napairap ako, sana kanina pa niya sinabi para di na kami nag-panic. I looked at Ash again and poked him.

"Partner tayo." I whispered but he just scoffed.

"Are you going?" Tanong ko ulit. "Of course you're going. Partner kita eh." Natatawang sabi ko.

"I'd rather submit a research paper." Mahinang sagot niya. My smile instantly faded.

"You can't do that." sabi ko. He just looked at me boredly.

"Says who?" Sagot niya. I just glared at him, alam ko naman na hindi magiging madali na yayain siyang pumunta, but I trust my convincing power.

"Failure to submit your projects and failure to attend the ball will be marked flat 5 for midterms"

The class has ended, sabay sabay kaming tumayo at inayos ko ang gamit ko.

"Zoe hatid na kita pauwi." Napatingin ako kay Jordan ng magsalita ito. Napatigil ako sa pag aayos ng gamit at ganun din si Ash. He looked at us.

"Mauna ka na, itetext ko nalang si Jonas." I said.

"Are you sure? Binilin ka kasi sakin ng mommy mo. You know, fiance duties." He said while chuckling. Literal na nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi niya, I suddenly heard a loud noise. Napatingin kami rito, Ash pushed away the chair that made a loud noise at tuloy tuloy na lumabas sa room.

"Why do you have to say that?!" naiinis na tanong ko at mabilis na tumakbo palabas. I roamed my eyes trying to find Ash but he was nowhere to be found. Damn!

I ran and looked for him everywhere pero wala na siya. Siguro ay nakalabas na siya. Oh God. I don't want him to misinterpret anything. Baka sabihin niya pinagtritripan ko siya, o pinaglalaruan ko siya. But it's not. I really like him!

I sighed really deep and stomped my feet in annoyance. I texted Jonas to fetch me, but he replied saying he was already at the parking lot. Good thing.

I went straight to the parking lot and I saw Jonas sitting at the hood of the car.

"At saan ka naman nagpunta kanina?!" Naiinis na bungad ko, he raised both of his hands as if surrendering.

"Chill madam, may pinagawa kasi sakin ang Daddy mo." Paliwanag niya. I rolled my eyes at him at pumasok na sa sasakyan.

"Alam mo ba na si Jordan kasabay ko kanina?! My God he's so annoying! Sinabi ba naman sa harap ni Ash na fiance ko siya!" I ranted.

"Wag ka mag alala di naman magseselos yun si Ash kasi wala naman gusto sayo yun." Parang wala lang na sagot niya.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.

"Ha ha ha so funny mo naman Jonas." I said sarcastically.

I went straight to my room when we arrived. Nag linis muna ako ng katawan bago humiga sa kama. I opened my phone and checked Ash' timeline. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi niya inaaccept ang friend request ko.

I looked at his number and saved it. I composed and message for him.
