One week had passed since that night. Isang beses lang ata pumasok si Ash simula nun, he missed a lot of classes. Minsan nagtataka rin ako, bakit ba nag enroll pa siya kung di naman siya pumapasok, but our professors doesn't even seem to notice that, or they just don't really care at all.

Zephany and I decided to went to cafeteria to buy some snacks.

"Nasan kaya sila Max?" Tanong niya. Since that day lagi na rin kaming sabay sabay kumain ng lunch and snacks with Selena and Maxine. They were good friends and they were very comfortable with.

"Girls!" Napatingin kami sa upuan kung nasan sila sa Selena. They waved at us at agad naman kaming lumapit.

They already ordered snacks for us.

"Ang tagal niyo!" Reklamo ni Selena.

"This girl kasi, she's waiting pa daw kay Ryker. Dipa ata sanay na di naman pumapasok yun." I just rolled my eyes and ate some nachos.

"Malay mo he will suddenly show up." Depensa ko. They just all laughed at me.

"May isa pa naman subject malay mo pumasok siya." Sabi naman ni Maxine. I smiled at winked at her.

"Right, girl?" Nag-apir kami ng kamay at sabay na tumawa.

We just spent 30 minutes together before parting ways again. Bumalik kami sa classroom, it was weird because it was unusually quiet. Tumatahimik lang naman ang classroom kapag... Omg!

I immediately ran inside the room, and smiled widely when I saw him sitting at his usual spot.

He was reading something while wearing earphones.

"Why did you run?!" Iritang sabi ni Zephany, she traced my eyes and when she realized, she just chuckled. Naglakad na siya papunta sa upuan namin, but I walked towards Ash' direction. I smiled and sat beside him.

"Hi Ash." I called using my sweetest voice. He did not even look at me. Nakasuot nga pala siya ng headset. I cleared my throat and waved in front of him.

Malakas niyang sinarado ang binabasa niyang libro at tinignan ako ng masama.

"What?" Masungit na tanong niya at inalis ang headset sa tenga niya. I smiled even wider.

"Bakit absent ka kanina?" I asked.

"Paki mo." My smile instantly faded, he put on again his earphone and continued reading. Napatingin ako sa paligid ko, some people were looking at me. I just raised my eyebrows and rolled my eyes at them. Some girls were glaring at me.

"Mga chismosa." Bulong ko sa sarili ko sa sobrang inis ko sa mga tumitingin. Padabog kong binaba ang bag ko at sumandal sa upuan.

"Zoe." Napatingin ako sa tumawag sakin, oh, it's the class mayor.

"Yes?" Masungit na tanong ko. I really hate everyone in this room, mga chismosa. But of course except for Zeph and Ash.

"Can I talk with you?" Tanong niya. I glared at her. Minsan na nga lang makatabi si Ash kakausapin pa niya ako, my gosh sayang yung bawat minuto na katabi ko si Ash.

"Yes you can talk to me here." Sagot ko.

"Privately." She looked at Ash na walang pakialam sa paligid at saka tumingin muli sa akin. I rolled my eyes at padabog na tumayo para lumabas.

"Ano ba yun?" Inis na tanong ko.

"You know, you were the only person that can go near Ryker or the only person who has the courage to do so." Paninimula niya. I crossed my arms and raised my brows.
