I went home at 11pm. Xav insisted to fetch me home but I declined. I was walking towards my apartment when I saw a car parked outside.

I entered the door and saw both of them waiting for me inside.

"Saan ka galing?"

"Wala ka sa trabaho mo kanina."

Magkasunod na tanong nila. I raised my hand to surrender and chuckled.

"Nagpahangin lang." I answered. They both rolled their eyes. Zeph immediately cling her arms to mine.

"We're very worried so we visited you." She said. We sat on the couch and Jordan sat next to me.

"I'm fine. No need to worry." I pushed her gently and looked at them.

"You don't usually go here when you're worried. Anong meron?" Tanong ko. She looked at Jordan, as if they're talking with their eyes.

"Uhm, we're going to invite you sana on my mom's birthday." Sabi ni Zeph.

I looked at Jordan and he's also waiting for my answer.

"It's okay if you don't want." Zeph

I've been maintaining to avoid spotlight since that happened. I don't want close friends and relatives to see me anymore. And I hope no one can recognize me when I go there.

"I will go." I answered and smiled at her.

"Yey!" She exclaimed.

"I'll fetch you tommorow, 8pm." Sabi ni Jordan. I just nodded.

After few hours of catching up, they both decided to go home.

I took a bath and went straight to bed.

Before I sleep I glanced at my phone. I already threw my old sim card, but Ash's number was still saved on my phone. I stared at it for a while and visited our old photos.

I kissed it goodnight before closing my eyes.

Jordan fetch me at 8pm. Dumaan muna kami sa salon at binigyan ako ni Zeph ng dress na gagamitin for that event. Jordan waited for my hair and make-up to finish and we both went to the party together.

"I have to be with Zeph for a while to help her greet guest. If you need me just call, okay?" Bilin niya. I just nodded and looked at myself at the mirror.

I don't know what changed on my physical features but I know I'm not the same as before.

"Saglit lang yun, we reserved a table for you." He added. I just chuckled and nodded.

"Opo boss." I answered. Napailing nalang ito habang tumatawa.

"Pakabait ka." I rolled my eyes at him at tumawa naman ito.

We entered the hotel and was greeted by attendants. I'm just wearing a simple black backless dress and a choker.

When we entered the ballroom, we were welcomed by a Jazz music, motif is black and gold probably because it's 60th birthday. Everyone looked elegant and sophisticated, they were busy talking with each other.

Jordan guided me to the reserved table and pulled a chair for me.

"Call me if you need something." Paalala niyang muli, I just nodded before he left me there and went to Zeph to help her. I'm just looking at them from afar.

Minutes has passed, dumarami na rin ang mga tao.

The event has started and until now Zeph and Jordan was not yet here. I feel very out of place but I remained watching the whole event.
