I drove away from the mansion, taking with me the confidential folder. I want to know the truth. What are they hiding? I parked my car at the building's parking lot.

I went inside the building and immediately went to the receptionist.

"I'm looking for my father, Steven Adisson." I said, the receptionist stared at me maybe she couldn't believe or my eyes were just puffy enough to attract her attention. I slapped the table infront of her.

"Tititig ka nalang?!" Sigaw ko, mukhang nagulat ito at mabilis na dinial ang telepono niya.

"Sir, nandito sa lobby yung anak niyo daw po." Saad nito, tumango siya at saka ibinaba ang telepono.

"Executive office ma'am, 15th floor." She guided me to the elevator and pressed it for me. My heart was beating really loud, it made me dizzy and nauseus, I pressed my lips to stop myself from crying. I really wished that this wasn't true, I really wished that I just misunderstood everything written here. I just can't accept the fact, and I think I won't be able to accept everything if everything was true.

The elevator stopped so I walked towards the executive office, this whole building was a owned by my parents, but this was the first time that I went here. I opened the door and saw my dad sitting at the couch, drinking a coffee.

"Dad." I called him. He immediately stood up and smiled at me.

"Zoe, I never thought you would personally go here. Look I can't open my office." Natatawang saad niya habang tinuturo ang isang pintuan na nakasara. Saglit akong tumingin doon at binalik ko ang tingin ko sa kanya.

"Dad, do you love me?" I asked suddenly. He looked very flustered to my sudden question but he smiled and nodded.

"Of course I am, baby." He answered.

"Then tell me everything." I fired back. His forehead creased and he tilted his head slightly, looking very confused. His eyes landed to my hand, holding a black folder, his eyes instantly widen and his lips parted.

"ZOE!" He shouted really loud like he was caught in the act.

"What the fuck is this Dad?! " I asked showing him the folder.

"GIVE THAT TO ME!" He shouted really loud, his voice echoed throughout the room but it didn't even make me flinch.

"Is it true?! You put him behind the bars for a crime he doesn't even committed?! Why?! Tangina bakit Pa?" I voice broke, and I sobbed really hard. His reaction proved that everything written here were all true.

I saw the fear in his eyes, the guilt, the sadness and anger. He brushed his hair in frustration and looked at me frustratedly, he sighed deeply and sat at the couch. Natulala ito at napainom ng tubig, he was like reminiscing everything before he talked again.

"Everything that we did was for you." He whispered, I decided to listen to him even my heart was burning in anger.

"For your future." He added.

"Stop the bullshit and tell me what you did to him." I said coldly.

"Joseph and I were friends and allies in politics, he was a mayor and I was his vice mayor that time. Everything went smoothly not until he decided to run for a higher a position, greed and hunger for power made me do things I never thought I could." He bowed his head and saw how his tears flowed across his cheeks.

"I sabotaged his transactions with private companies and fabricated evidences against him. He trusted me that much that he hired your mom as his lawyer." My tears were flowing continuously across my cheeks as I heard everything.
