Those words echoed in my mind endlessly, I remained staring at him unable to say a word. I was dumbfounded, all I could hear was my heart beating terribly fast and I'm afraid it might explode.

"Hey." He called me, he looked very nervous waiting for my answer.

I could feel my eyes started to burn, I was about to cry. I pulled him closer and pressed my lips to his. He looked shocked so I smiled and nodded.

"Of course. I'll be your partner forever." I tried stopping my self from shedding a tear. He smiled victoriously and sealed my lips with kisses.

He kissed me deeply, his tongue exploring my mouth and his grip on my waist became tighter. He pulled me closer and I gasped when he suddenly carried me and let me sit on the counter top without pulling his lips on mine. He stopped and stared at my eyes with hunger.

"I ruined your lipstick." He said, still staring at my lips. I just chuckled and hugged him very tight.

Tinulungan niya ako makababa sa counter top at sinamahan ako sa washroom. Naghintay siya sa labas habang nireretouch ko ang make up ko. I went out and saw him leaning on the wall.

Lumabas kami sa mansion at bumalik sa party, it was awkward but we went back like nothing happened. Dumiretso kami sa lamesa na inuukopa ng ina niya at ng pamilya ni Jordan. I sat beside Jordan and Ash sat beside his mother.

"Saan ka galing Ashton?" His mother asked.

"I just greeted some guests." Maikling sagot niya at sumulyap ng tingin sa akin.

"How about you hija?" Tanong ng ina niya sa akin.

"Comfort room po." I lied, I saw Ash pressing his lips to stop himself from smiling.

"Oh, okay."

Mrs. Chance and Mrs. Davis was busy talking about business stuffs.

"Have you seen Zeph?" I whispered to Jordan.

"Yeah, she's with someone." I raised my brow when he said those words with irritation.

"Baka jowa niya." I teased him, mas lalo lamang nalukot ang mukha nito at inirapan ako.

"Sa sobrang daldal nun walang magkakagusto dun." I can't stop myself from laughing but he just sipped his wine. Nasulyapan ko si Ash at nakitang masama ang tingin nito kaya't umayos ako ng upo at kumain na lamang ng tahimik.

"So, kailan ang kasal Mrs.Davis?" Maintrigang tanong ng ina ni Ash, I suddenly stopped eating and looked at Jordan's mom.

"Next year actually, I'll send you invitation soon amiga." They both laughed.

"How about your son? What's your plan?" Lahat ng atensyon ay napunta kay Ash, he stopped eating and wiped his mouth. He sipped from his wine and cleared his throat.

"I'm planning to marry someone I love." He answered while staring at me. My eyes instantly widen, and I could feel my heart beat fast.

"That's so sweet of you, Ashton. Is that Jewell?" Everyone looked at them, Jewell laughed shyly and put some strands of her hair behind her ears.

"Tita, wala pa sa plano namin yan." Nahihiyang sagot ni Jewell sa ina ni Ash. I sipped my wine and I raised my brow to Ash when our eyes met.

"Ma," May babalang tawag ni Ash sa kanya her mom just chuckled and slightly hit his arms.

"C'mon anak, you and Jewell looked good together, besides I don't want anyone to be my daughter in law except her."

I think my heart just sank hearing those words, I unconsciously dropped the wine from my hand. Mabilis akong napatayo ng matapon ito sa lamesa, it also spilled all over my dress. Everyone gasped, Jordan immediately stood up to help me wipe my dress.
