Chapter 9

Vritika's POV

I walk out of the kitchen with workers on my toe. It was time for the breakfast and all the males have to leave for their offices. Dhriti and Sritija have a holiday today so they were just helping me with the work though there wasn't much to do.

"Serve everyone" I said as I saw that everyone was already seated on their respective seats. I roam my eyes around the table as the breakfast is served and I see him shaking his head at everything and not eating anything.

I sigh and turn towards the kitchen and bring a plate of fruits for him. He is again not going to say and keep the fast whole day with us and leave for his office without eating anything.

I walk towards him and keep the plate in front of him and he turns to look at me and our eyes meet. He blinks and passes me a small smile and I point towards the plate asking him to atleast eat them.

"Thankyou" he said and I gave him a smile and got straight to turn and stand back with Sritija and Dhriti.

"You all should eat too" he said and I looked at the face of Sritija and Dhriti and nodded my head as they were looking famished now.

"Dhriti, Sritija sit and eat some fruits too" I said motioning them towards the table and Dhriti at once sat on her chair beside Vivaan who just gave her a bit amused look. Atleast he had another expression on his face except that frown and scowl.

"Easy" I said with a smile and saw Sritija moving slowly towards her chair with a slight blush on her face and I saw Rayaan looking at his plate with a cute expression too and I shook my head.

"You?" I heard his voice and turned to see him giving me a questioning look and I opened my mouth to answer.

"She will only eat one meal today" mosiji said and I nodded my head looking at Kiaan and he turned towards his plate and touched the table near it and then his forehead and joined his hands in prayer and got up.

I looked at him while biting my lip and a bit shocked at his actions. I don't like him leaving the house empty stomach. He walks towards the gate and I follow him not sure on how to say this. He had always made me nervous. The only human being who could do that.

"Suniye" I called him and he stopped in his tracks turning his face to the side. His back was facing me and I walked closer to him.

(Listen)

"You should eat some fruits atleast" I said standing at the same position a few steps back from him

"Which one meal of the day you will have?" He asked and I blinked at him

"Dinner" I said and he nodded his head and turned to walk again

"You don't have to be hungry just because I am not eating anything" I said finally and he turned back and looked right into my eyes.

"I promised him to be always by your side and I don't break my promises" he said and I took a deep breath and nodded my head as he turned around to leave. He is still keeping all the promises he gave him.

I went straight to my room as I remembered him and wanted to be alone now. I can't show my vulnerable side to the others as this was one of the promises I gave to him.
