Dhriti's POV
I walk out wearing a simple sundress as I twirl a little feeling like a little doll in the dress. I look behind as my eyes caught the sight of bhabhi and Sritija, while they both had a different kind of glow on their faces with a permanent blush whenever their eyes met with their respective husbands
I smile as I step ahead and my eyes catch the sight of a volleyball net near the place. I roam my eyes around the court as several shirtless guys caught my eyes as they jump and play the game. My eyes immediately move to Vivaan as I start imagining him.
Vivaan would look so handsome playing volleyball in those basketball shorts and that vest. I gulp down my saliva as I start feeling my throat dry and I started breathing heavily. I felt a small tap on my shoulder and I turned to look around as a smile came on my face
"Hi" Donovan said coming in front of me with his boyfriend on his toe as they held hand looking really adorable standing together in matching shorts and different colored vests
"Hello" I said in an excited tone trying to match up with his. He looked at the volleyball net in front of me as his boyfriend, Matt muttered something in his ear before leaving his hand and walking towards the volleyball net
"Are you both here to play too?" I asked slightly raising my eyebrows and saw him smile before he looked in front towards Matt as he caught the ball and got in position to shoot it
"He is, he loves all kinds of sports and that's where we first met actually. I was trying to learn and he was trying to teach me" Donovan said with a hint of mischief in his eyes as he said the last some words and I chuckled getting the meaning behind his words
"You both look really adorable together" I said and saw him smile and blink at me in acknowledgement before again looking ahead at the game
"I also want to learn this game, I tried it in school but failed completely" I said with sad eyes and saw him pout a little one as he tapped my shoulder in a little consoling manner and a smile instantly took over my face
"Go and ask your hunk to help you. I might get punched if I will try to teach you" he said pointing his face towards the direction where Vivaan was standing and probably have been glaring at Donovan since he came and stood beside me
I passed a smile to Donovan as he gave me a gentle push to me in Vivaan's direction. I took a deep breath as I started taking small steps in Vivaan's direction as he stood there with his jaw clenched and hands folded in the front
"Vivaan" I said stretching the 'a' little longer and saw him blink slowly as he looked at me with a side eyed look and turning his head back towards the game in front of us
"Listen" I said slightly pulling his t-shirt and trying to gain his attention as he turned towards me again still maintaining that clenched jaw. He raised his eyebrows slightly taking in my features and I passed him a smile
"I want to play too" I said blinking rapidly and he furrowed his eyebrows slightly raising one of them giving me a quizzical look
"Then go and play but play on that net. It's free for practice" he said pointing towards the smaller net on the other side just a distance away from where the guys were playing. I blinked slowly at this idiotic ox
"Seriously? I don't know how to play. Will you please teach me?" I said stating the obvious. Why do I always forget that I have married the most clueless guy in the universe and has to explain each and everything to him?
"No, go and learn on your own" he said looking straight ahead as I opened my mouth slightly staring at him with shock written all over my face. I stared at him as I clenched my fist and made an action of beating him
