Dhriti's POV
The monsters slept. the monsters that were supposed to be my children but it didn't actually felt like it after being awake the whole night. I saw Anvij sigh slowly before he turned and pushed his hand onto Dhriva's side while she mumbled something
I was told by everyone that children's sleeping habits depend on their mother and I actually made a habit of sleeping on time and everything. But these little devils didn't seem to get the memo and continued being awake all night
I groaned and slumped down on the bed looking at my not showered self since a complete day. My kids were definitely adorable but they were the biggest headache in the night specially when Vivaan is out of town due to some work
Anvij make a small cute noise as his fists scratches his nose, making my lips curve towards a small smile as my hand moved through his hair slowly caressing them. I pressed a kiss on his forehead and then moved to press one on Dhriva's forehead too and she purred softly
I shook my head as I stood up and pulled some cushion beside the two incase they rolled over and broke themselves. I moved my hand and slowly caressed their heads before walking towards the dressing room
"Bhabhi" I heard the loud voice of Rayaan behind the door and I immediately rushed out ready to hit him on the head. My hand reached the door of the room as I pulled it open passing a glare in Rayaan's direction
"What? Why are you screaming?" I said glaring his direction and whispering through gritted teeth. My hand held the door knob tightly as I pulled it along with me stepping out of the room while his expression faltered
"Where? Who is screaming?" he said looking around him with a confused expression and I tilted my head giving him an exhausted expression. His eyes moved back onto me as he blinked and I sighed releasing a long breath
"You. You are the one who has been screaming. And I must tell you that of Anvij and Dhriva woke up, you are the one going to be taking care of their cranky self" I said shoving my finger in front of his face while he stepped back raising his hand in defeat
"Sorry, I didn't knew you were going to act all cranky" he said scrunching his nose and I raised my hand to slowly pinch his arm harshly. He immediately jumped back from me making a small smile take over my lips
"Bhai ki aatma aa gyi h kya aapke andar? Why are you being all violent like him all of a sudden?" he said slowly moving his palm along the place where I pinched him, soothing the place. A chuckled escaped my lips as I raised my shoulder, shrugging lightly.
(Has brother's spirit came inside you?)
"Leave all this, now tell me why were you screaming so early in the morning?" I asked raising my eyebrows in his direction. He raised his eyes looking at me with a feigned hurt expression and I almost rolled my eyes
"Its not early in the morning bhabhi. Its almost noon" he said and my brows lifted upwards in shock. I stared at him wanting him to say something again to answer my silent question
"Really. Its almost noon. See" he said forwarding his mobile in my direction and my eyes widened as I saw the time displayed on the screen. I blinked my eyes slowly coming to the realization
So, the little devils stayed awake till almost 11 in the morning. Oh God, now I need a nap for hours too
"Bhabhi" he said again and I blinked coming out of the trance. My eyes turned to his as he quirked his eyebrows in a silent inquiry
"Yes, you were here for something" I said nodding my head in his direction as he opened his mouth
"Yes, I was. I wanted to ask you how much time will it take for you to get ready. And guessing by your state you need to take small nap too" he said and I narrowed my eyes giving him a stare while he again opened his mouth
