Dhriti's POV
I hold Sritija's hand and walk downstairs with her. She wanted to see the smile of Vivaan and the only way he smiled is after getting me irritated. So, it is time for his return to home and now I am going to do something such that he can irritate me.
I heard the voice of the anklets coming from the stairs and moved my eyes to watched Vritika bhabhi running down with a flustered look on her face. Her ear and neck was all red as if she was doing something tiring
"Bhabhi?" I called her and she stopped in her tracks as she turned to look at me with the same flustered expression as she tried hiding her expressions at the level best
"Are you okay? You look flustered" I said with a little concern in these ten months I have never seen her looking so embarrassed as she was looking at the moment
"Its just the weather" she said pointing around the room as if indicating the air around us. I frowned a little but nodded my head
"I will just check something in the kitchen" she said and walked in the kitchen in a higher speed than usual. I exchanged a look with Sritija who looked just as confused as me. I shrugged and moved my eyes at the door again
"He must be arriving from his office soon" I said looking at the door and Sritija blinked innocently looking like a little kid and I just wanted to pull her cheeks
The door opened and I saw a tired Vivaan walking. I took in his figure and slowly bit my lip. He was looking unusually handsome with his rolled up sleeves and messed up hair. I smiled looking at the floor before clearing my throat.
"Vivaan" I called and he turned his face towards me and I blinked. Why is he looking so handsome today? I really need to do something about my hormones, I am finding this ox handsome now.
"Bolo chachundarni" he said raising his eyebrows and I gaped at the new name, he just used for me. Here, I was thinking of acting irritated but, no, no, no, my husband has an uncanny power to irritate the hell out of me.
(Speak Asian house shrew)
"Chachun" I started in a loud voice but stopped as I took in a deep breath trying to calm down the rising anger. I can't shout at him in the living area. I tried calming myself and reminding that my spirit animal is Phoebe and we don't like our voice in that high pitch.
"Do you even work in the office? Or just sit around googling how to irritate your wife with stupid nicknames?" I said showing him my eyes, my annoyance slipping right through my words. He sucked in his lips trying to control the smile from gracing his lips
"I mean how could you even think of such annoying nicknames?" I said still flabbergasted by the name he just called.
"Just like you thought of ox" he said and I flared my nostrils in annoyance as I took a step towards him. I completely ignored his statement as I continued speaking about my annoyance with his weird names
