Sritija's POV

I smile while showing all my teeth as I head inside my house. I know the Raghuvanshi villa is also my house but there is something special about the house I have lived in since childhood and especially my parents.

"Mummy" I said as I saw her rushed to hug her. It's been only been around two weeks since I last met her but I missed her a lot

"Mera bacha. How are you?" Mummy asked as we got out from the hug and I grinned showing all my teeths as an indication that I was happy and healthy

"I am good. And Happy Holi" I said hugging her again and rubbing my cheeks against hers to get some colour on her cheeks too. Mummy laughed and I started walking further.

"Wait, just go to the backyard for now" mummy said showing a sweet smile to everyone and I passed a look to Aadu, when we both giggled imagining the turmoil inside mummy's mind.

"Let's go" Rayaan said as he started walking ahead as if he knows the ways around the house and I narrowed my eyes at his antics a little.

"Bhabhi" I said as I saw Vritika bhabhi looking around still rooted in her place and she nodded her head and soon followed me towards the backyard.

We all just stood in the backyard for some time staring at each other awkwardly while I saw Aadu trying to escape from there. I chuckled remembering her disliking, or may I say hatred towards the festival.

"Rayaan" I called him as he stood wear the table feasting on various dishes mummy prepared. He turned towards me and slightly raised his eyebrows. I signaled him with my hands to come towards me.

"What" he said walking and standing in front of me. I tiptoes a little reaching his ear as he looked at with a very confused and at the sane time amused expression.

"I want you to pour water on Aadu" I said and in his ear and stood back on my usual height passing him a smile as he smirked

"I didn't know my Shri had a mischievous side too" he said in a teasing tone and I blushed looking around while he chuckled.

"Jo hukum aapke" he said bending in front of me in courtesy and I bit my lip before shoving him a little away and running towards Papa. Papa conversed with me for a while and I smiled as he just stood beside me praising the food as always.

"Jijuuu" I heard Aadu's shriek and I turned around to see a completely drenched Aadu standing there with a her mouth half agape as she stared at Rayaan. I chuckled and saw Papa give me a kind of side look

Soon Aadu has grabbed a tub lying near her started running behind Rayaan as he laughed dodging her almost every time. I smiled as I looked at them. It was such a precious moment to see them being comfortable with each other.

"He puts a lot of effort to converse with all of us. You should also try to be comfortable with his family" Papa said and I nodded my head turning towards him passing a smile. I shrieked as I felt something cold touched y back.
