Sritija's POV

I walk out of the washroom drying my hair with the towel. I look up and my eyes meet the red ones of Rayaan's. I blink taking in his appearance as he sat on the bed in a king like position. For the first time since I saw him I felt something scary about his aura.

"Rayaan" I called in a slow voice as he blinked and stood up taking slow steps towards me and I frowned looking at his face and movements

"You seem to have received a confidential message by mistake" he said in a tight lipped tone and I slightly tilted my lips. Confidential message? Oh no, why the hell are they messaging me after so many years?

"Rayaan... its... um" I started but he raised his hand in a way as if asking me to be quiet. I gulped as he rotated my mobile in between his fingers with his eyes still fixed on my figure. He should not get to know about this it could be dangerous for him and well, everyone.

"The message is for someone named Drupad. Do you know someone who uses such code names?" he said in a mocking tone and I pursued in my lips. All the fears and secrets that I have been hiding from everyone all this time shouldn't be unfolded right now

"Its" I again tried talking but he shushed me keeping his finger on my lips. I blinked slowly as I clenched in my fist. Why is he not letting me sleep? I might be able to give him a zest of the situation

"It sounds a lot like the name from the list of the top hackers, right?" He said in a dangerous tone and I bit my lip. His voice was sounding very harsh as if he was trying to take out all his anger on me. I stepped back as he looked at me with a dangerous look

"So, apparently my innocent looking wife is a good liar too" he said and I took in a deep breath before taking a step towards him and trying to touch him to calm him down. I wasn't even sure why he was so angry with me? I didn't exactly lie, lie to him.

"I was not trying to lie to you. Its something I  just couldn't tell you" I said and he smirked dangerously as he stepped towards me and I licked my lips again. The situation was getting really rough with the way he was looking at me

"Really? Then why I wasn't told that it was you on that top hackers list" he said in a hoarse tone and I gulped slowly closing my eyes. I shook my head slowly as I took a step ahead. I was trying really hard to push back the tears that were trying to come out with his every sentence

"I.. its .. I don't even know how to explain it you. Its just something I couldn't tell anyone" I said and he scoffed as he looked away from me. He definitely has the right to be angry and y inability to explain the situation is not actually helping him

"Yeah? I was looking around for those hackers since a month and one of them was here under the same roof as me" he said and I exhaled a deep breath as I looked around. I licked my lips as I looked down at the floor

"And she didn't even bother to inform me about it" he said in a tone that made me want to kick something. I was feeling angry like I really wanted to pull my hair out. The situation is just so frustrating but how can I even explain this to him?
