Kiaan's POV
I shook my head as Vivaan stood beside me discussing the arrangements for today and I patted his back as the anniversary or functions related to papa has always been difficult for him more than us. But he always puts forth his best for mummy.
"Vivaan" Dhriti's voice came and we both turned around. I forgot to take a breath as my eyes checked out the black beauty walking in front of me. She was looking ravishing in her black fishtail style lehenga and a smile started appearing on my face.
My smile soon changed to a smirk as I saw her halt her steps and stare at me nervously and I started taking slow steps towards her without even a second thought and saw her walking down the remaining two steps too.
I passed her my hand as she walked down the last step and she kept her hand in mine after looking at it for a second and my smirk deepened. I love being the only one she is nervous around though sometimes I really want to be the only one she is comfortable around too.
"You should have told me that I need to go to the boxing lessons" I said in a husky voice as she kept her hand in mine as the thought of other guys looking at her with things in their mind crossed me. She took a sharp intake of breath and gave me a side glanced
"Hmm?" she said and I shook my head and pointed towards the gate as I asked her to let's move out for the day to the function and she nodded her head and tried taking her hand out of my grip as I held it even tighter. I really am not letting go of her hand ever now

I walk out of the car and move towards her side as she opens the gate to her side and pushes her lehenga out before stepping out of the car and I smiled as I passed her my hand and she took it almost immediately but stopped and looked up to see me with a shocked expression.
"Come out" I said as I saw her hesitant expression and she nodded as I helped her out of the car and she stood beside me in her always so usual graceful way
"Let's go" she said as she again tried to take her hand out of mine and I shook my head and just lead her hand towards my bicep as we walked like the perfect couple everyone think we are. She put on a smile as we walk in the gate to the venue and I put on my calm and collected expression
"Kiaan" she called as we walked in further and I looked at her as she blinked slowly when I turned
"Yes" I said when I saw her not even opening her mouth to reply anything and she shook her head as she heard my voice and looked up in my eyes for a mere second before she again focused her attention on my shirt
"Will you let go of my hand now?" She asked looking around towards the group of guests that required her greeting them and I smiled for a second as I looked at her nervous stance as she spoke
"I can go with you wherever you want" I said and she snapped her head towards me shocked by my answer and I gave her a sheepish look which I never thought I could even do
"I am going to talk to those ladies and I think you will be bored there" she said and I made a face again holding her hand in a grip.
"Okay" I said as I realized we are eldest couple in the house and it is our responsibility to host and greet everyone. I left her hand and felt empty inside as she walked away towards the group of ladies and I took off towards my one and only friend, Chinmay who stood in a corner sipping at something in his hands
"How are you enjoying the party" I asked reaching him and stopped when I was about to put my hand on his shoulder as I saw him staring at someone and I followed his line of vision which stopped on his wife, Natasha.
