Vritika's POV
"Yes, then where was this father when I had to literally manage mummy, Vivaan and Rayaan all on my own" he shouted in a loud voice and I blinked as he seemed to be in a place where he was just about to have a breakdown. I heard a clattering sound as he broke the vase on the couch table near him
"Tell me Vritika, didn't I and actually everyone needed him at the moment?" He said and I looked at him perplexed, completely unaware of my next movement
"Yes, he did a terrible thing but wasn't running away and leaving us with a shattered house, a sin?" He said and I took a small step towards him. I really wanted to do something to let him sit and not hurt himself.
"Wasn't leaving everything on his 12 years old son, a thing that should have hurt him too?" He said and I paused a bit before carefully holding his arm and pulling him towards the bed.
He obliged as he went silent for a second and just let me pull him. I pushed him down on the bed and he bounced once before settling properly. He looked like a kid at the moment and I had such a strong urge to cradle him.
My eyes looked into his sorrowful one as he blinked again letting all the pain inside. I held his hand and shifted closer to him before sitting just next to him. I moved my hand towards the messy hair of his as he closed his eyes for a while. My hand stopped as I heard his phone ring.
"I will answer it" I said taking in his exhausted sight. I reached for his phone and looked at the caller id.
"Hello" I said answering the call but my eyes never left the figure of Kiaan.
"Oh bhabhi" Rayaan's voice met my ears from the other side and I released a breath of relief as Kiaan laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling, his usual expression of calmness returning back
"Is bhaiya free?" he asked and I looked at the face of Kiaan before shaking off my head
"He is in the washroom, I can call him if you need something important" I said and heard a hesitant sigh from the other side
"No, its fine. I will call him in the lunch time" he said and I disconnected the call after saying a small bye and shifted towards Kiaan. He sensed my movement and his met mine.
"Come here" he said in an authoritative voice spreading his arms towards me. I looked at him with big eyes unsure of what he was referring to.
"Come' he said and held my hand as he pulled me towards him in a move. I gaped as I lay my head on his arm and he turned his face towards me. I snuck in a deep breath feeling his body warmth so close to me
"Kiaan ji" I said stuttering a bit. His presence has a unnerving effect on me, its like I am not me around him
"Ssshh" he said keeping his index finger on my lips and I gulped.
"Do you know how relaxing your aura is?" he said and I looked around in confusion. It was completely opposite his personality to catch me in his arms and saying all of these words
"Most of the people say that I have a commanding aura" I said when he kept staring at me for minutes without blinking. My nerves were riding a train at the moment
"Its comforting to me" he said slowly moving the back of his hand on my cheek and I side glanced at him to see some kind of glint n his eyes
"You know the first time I properly fought fought with him was for our marriage" he said and I turned to face him in his arms and he blinked slowly. I never realized that he had to fight with his family for our marriage
"You had to fight with everyone?" I asked breathing slowly as my chest rose up and down with every beat. he hummed in response before looking me right in the eyes making me nervous like anything
