Dhriti's POV

I scratch something on the paper trying to come up with some idea for the new product design as I stare at the other 25 not so good designs. I take a breath as I scribble something and smile as it looks a little like what I have been imagining since the time I sat down

"What?" I said in a whining tone as I saw Vivaan move his pencil over my sketch trying to correct its structural integration like always and I make a face as I try to move my sketch away from his prying hands

"It needs to have the lines drawn like that otherwise it won't be stable" he said looking at me and I pouted as I cast him a glance and pulled my sketchbook again away from him and turned in the other direction not facing him

"I was only helping you" he said in a loud voice and I just huffed in annoyance as I continued drawing it the way he was trying to. I suddenly remembered what happened at the breakfast table today and turned to look at him

"By the way, why were trying to steal those fritters from bhabhi? It was very rude" I said in the same annoyed tone and he just tilted his head a little to look at me with an exasperated expression. I think I have been having an effect on him as his expression are getting ,more and more these days

"I wasn't trying to steal. It's just oily and junk is not good for her and the chotu kid" he said and I squinted my brows and looked in his direction as he just kept staring at me. How does he always manage to have a nickname for everything and everyone?

(small kid)

"Chotu kid? Every kid is a chotu. Have you ever seen a badu kid" I asked and saw him such in his cheeks before he fixed his eyes on me and I gulped a little suddenly feeling all shy. I felt heat travel towards my face and I slowly licked my lips

(Small kid? Every kid is small,. Have you ever seen a big kid?)

"Well, I am sitting right now with a badu kid at the moment" he said with amusement written all over his face and I hit him on his arm slowly pushing him away from me. I heard his chuckle resonate in the room as he held my hand in his palms

"You are really an ox" I said and he smiled before he leaned in a little in direction and pulled me closer towards him and I landed my other hand on his chest as I heard his heartbeat underneath my palm

"And you are really a chuhiya just slightly cuter than the usual one" he said in husky tone in my ear and I blushed shaking my head and keeping my head on his chest as I took in a deep breath. His hand came around my waist as he pulled me more closer towards him

"By the way what do you want it to be a little girl or a boy" I asked feeling all excited with the idea of having a younger edition in the family. Its been so long since I played around with a kid this small. I felt a gentle caress on my hair and I smiled as I played with the buttons on his shirt

"I think it would be better to have a little girl. Its been so long since the family had a daughter" he said with a smile sounding even through his words and I turned to cast a smile in his direction as he held my waist tightly in between his fingers making small patterns

"Also, imagine she would be the eldest in our house. An exact replica of Vritika as she grows up, would be very fun to watch" he said and I saw a smile on his face as I poked my tongue in my cheek before casting him a small glance

"It would be good actually and we will kind of get a small doll to play around with" I said and he nodded his head looking really happy with the idea.

"Also, what did you mean by eldest child in the house?" I asked as for now she will be the youngest one in the house not eldest and I am pretty sure she is going to be a little too much pampered by everyone in the family
