Vritika's POV

"Bhabhi, why do you call Kiaan bhaiya with a ji" Dhriti asked and I blinked. I really don't know when this gossip session of Dhriti's turned into a questionnaire about our husbands or more like a questionnaire about Kiaan and I.

"I just had a habit of calling him with a ji since childhood" I said and Dhriti nodded. I saw Sritija's expression change as if she wanted to ask something but she kept quiet

"Sritija, you can ask anything you want. I won't mind" I said and Sritija passed me a small smile before nodding her head and sitting a little attentively now

"You knew bhaiya before marriage?" Sritija asked and I nodded my head.

"Yeah, my father used to teach Kiaan ji. So, I sometimes visited here with him when I was younger and then I was in the same college as him for a year" I said telling them honestly the whole part of our earlier life. I mean there were other things but this was much more of the zest.

"Oh, so yours wasn't an arranged marriage?" Dhriti asked and I poked my tongue in my cheek. This was one question I never knew the answer to properly. I could never answer anyone so I usually said that it was an arrange marriage

"Not properly, no. We had a kind of a weird marriage. It just happened. It was neither arranged nor love. More of a" I stopped in mid way as I went through my mind to find a proper word for the marriage

"I don't know what it was. We just got married one day" I said and saw Dhriti and Sritija look at me in confusion. I knew their expressions would be like this. The marriage is only understandable to the people who knew the situation inside and out

"Did bhaiya propose to you?" Dhriti asked and I blinked taken aback by her sudden question. Ours wasn't a conventional arrange or love marriage. We both obviously weren't in love at that time

"Kind of" I said and Dhriti squealed like a little kid. I looked at her with a weird expression as she smiled even more and turned properly towards me

"Was it romantic? Did he went down on his knees? Was it big like in the middle of Paris?" Dhriti asked looking at me with a dreamy expression. I blinked remembering the moment as I opened my mouth to answer her various questions

"He did went down on his knees that day and asked me for the marriage" I said remembering that day and the various events it unfolded. It was a chaos that day one thing after another. Dhriti giggled as I finished and I saw Sritija blush a little

"And no, we were not in Paris but my house. It was sweet and simple, I don't know about romantic. I don't really remember a lot of those days. It was a proper chaos" I said and Dhriti nodded her head still looking like a squeaking kid

"I didn't knew bhaiya was so romantic. I always wanted a knee down proposal but ended up having an arrange marriage" Dhriti said and I awed her simply patting her as she passed an overdramatic sad expression to me

"Sritija, why did you choose Rayaan?" Dhriti asked now moving onto her from me and I smiled turning towards her. I am sure that our house would be dead silent without Dhriti and her antics.
