Chapter 13

As I talked to KaiLani she talked about a book. I've already read the book she's reading. It has a lot of sex scenes or what they say is "Smut". I love Romance novels and mysteries a lot.

As I really analyzed her features she looks really different. Her hips are wider, ass bigger, thighs bigger, her face looks more mature. She actually looks like an adult now. It would be a complete lie if I sat here and said I wasn't attracted to her. I was back then but now, my eyes raked her up and down and damn she's gorgeous. Kalias I hope you wouldn't mind another sibling.

I want a second chance with KaiLani. Yes, I have a second chance to be in their lives but I want a second chance to be with KaiLani. When we talked in Italy I noticed all the pain and hurt I caused her. I never meant to, I didn't want to leave her, I didn't want to hurt her, I didn't want to do anything but be with her and love her. I need her to open up to me, and just trust me.

After we got off the plane one of my men drove us home. Kalias sat next to me on his tablet. KaiLani also sat next to me but on the other side. Should I make a move? Nah, not right now . I kept my composure from making a move. I turned in her direction, "I know you have to work a lot but at some time I would like to talk to you about something." She looks up from her book. "About what?" Me wanting to get back with you.

"How this co-parenting thing is going to work. I was thinking you could move down here if you liked it a lot. If you like my house then you could live at my house. Also, Alonzo and my brother Zane stay at my house from time to time. If that makes you uncomfortable then we'll figure something out." She nodded. Well there goes that conversation.

"I was wondering when your next off day is, we can have a re-do day." She turned towards me confused, "A re-do day." Her eyes moved from left and right. "What the fuck is that?" She asked, I chuckled. "It's a day where just me and you will do something around town that we'll both enjoy. We will get to know each other again, I feel it's only fair because we have a kid together and it's been so long that we can catch up."

The reaction I expected was completely different from the one I got. She moved towards the window with her back turned towards it, her arms crossed, her face turned up in anger. "So you think you can just walk back in my life and say you want to get to know each other and think everything's gonna just be all sunshine and rainbows?" I held up my hands up In defense, "No, no, no. I just think we should have a fresh start. I don't mean get back together. Yes you do. just a fresh start, we do have a kid together."

She sat in silence for a while, thinking. "It's not a no but it's not a yes. Let me think about it." I cracked a small smile, "Thank you." I said. "For what?" She looked at me with her head turned to the side, "Because you said you'd think about it. So it's not a complete no and IF it is a no at least you thought about it which is all I asked." My smile widened and so did hers as we made eye contact. She broke eye contact as we pulled into the house looking in the window.

Once the car stopped we all got out getting their stuff. KaiLani started to reach for a bag, I moved her hand from the bag, "No bambina." I said taking the bag from her hands. "I want to carry something." She said, "You have my son and your purse." She scoffed, "okay."

I had her bags put in my room, I told her once all her bags get up stairs I'll give her a tour. That's exactly what I did. "So where's my room? Where's my bag?" I had just shown her Kalias's room which was right next to ours. "You stuff is in my room." My hands went inside my pockets as I planted my feet. "Why is it in your room?" Her tone changed, she took steps towards me eventually leaving a small gap between us. She looked up at me, I looked down at her locking eyes.

"Because I would like you to stay in my room. It gives more of a family effect, we are two grown adults. I think we can share a bed and be mature about it." My eyes switched to her lips that looked so kissable. The clear lip gloss covered her two toned lips.

She rolled her eyes, "If you try something stupid I'll stab you." She took a blade out from somewhere holding up to my neck. She then moved it up to my neck to my face, while remaining eye contact. She chuckled lightly, before tapping the flat part on my nose. As she walked away her hips swayed naturally.

I sighed trying to get rid of the boner I have. I imagine Zane wearing a bikini. Boner gone. I breathed deeply, Mature Ace, Mature Ace. Keep it under control.
