My door burst open, "Here shit head." My annoying little sister threw a file on my desk. "What's this?" Motioning towards the file. She smirked, "You said you wanted a file on here, there it is." She took a seat in the chair in front of my desk as I reached for the file, opening it eagerly.
She had a son, but no father listed. "No father?" My brow raised, she shrugged, "No hospital record of the father. Her best friend Luka Daniels signed the birth certificate. But he's not the father." I pushed my glasses up as I continued reading. "What makes you say that?"
"Look deeper into the file and you'll find out." Just as she said that there was an old photo both KaiLani and Luka look younger. They were at a party. I flipped back to the photo, looking closely but you couldn't see his face. Before I could say anything she cut me off, "Go to the other picture of her and Luka." I did as she said. Looking closely in the background there was the same tall man, from before. "Maybe he's the dad." I suggest. "Look closer." I rolled my eyes, holding the paper up to the light. No fucking way.
I lowered the paper, and I looked again. It was indeed Ace. I looked at my sister. She handed me another photo, this time from her birthday. She was wearing a nude colored skin tight dress, Ace was wearing a nude colored pants with a black turtleneck and gold jewelry. Even though the side of his was to the camera you could still tell it was him.
"Look at the date in that photo also." I looked down, seeing it was four years ago, "Do the math from the boy's birthday."
"Her birthday and his are exactly nine months and 10 days apart." She smirked, "Bingo."

He's ruthless, we have no time to sit around and be reckless anymore. If he finds out you have about KaiLani what do you think he's going to do huh?
