I got off work a while ago, I'm currently soaking in the bathtub reading my book Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. The bathroom door opened, revealing Ace wearing an all black suit with his hair spread across his shoulders flipped to the side. He looks real fuckable right about now.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were in here." He stood there looking down trying now to look at me. "You can look at me, it's nothing you haven't seen before." He chuckled, "I know I just wasn't trying to make you uncomfortable." I shrugged, "It's cool. Now did you need something?"

"I was about to take a shower, but I'll just wait till you're done." I nodded, "I was actually just about to get out of the tub, but the showers opened. I'm not using it." He smirked, "If you wanted to see me naked that's all you had to say." I rolled my eyes letting out a small chuckle, "I've already seen it. We have a child together, remember." I continued reading my book, "Yes, yes I do. Let's just say I've grown since then." I glanced up from my book seeing him shirtless taking off his pants while looking at me.

"Yeah that's my cue." I let the water out of the tub, grabbing my towel and wrapping it around me before he seen anything. I'm still soaked in water, I'm just trying to get out. "Awl, I was trying to see that perfect body of yours, maybe next time." I chuckled, "if that helps you sleep at night. The glass shower wasn't fogged so everything was exposed. His back was very muscular, the back tattoo didn't help either.

I couldn't help but stare, "Take a picture, it'll last longer bambina, but You can join me if you want." I rolled my eyes. Walking into the bedroom to moisturize and dry off.

The shower turned off, I sat in bed drinking my glass of red wine while finishing reading my book. He walked out with a Towel around his waist, "You miss me?" His cocky tone came into play, i kept reading my book not minding him. "I didn't even notice you were gone." He glared at me while I smirked.

He got dressed, as in dressed I mean only wearing boxers to bed. "Are you off tomorrow?" He asked, sitting next to me. "Yes." He hummed, "Okay, I was wondering if it's okay with you Kalias can stay with Darien and my brother Zane while I take you out. Not on a date but I said we were gonna get to know each other again. I meant it." I thought about it, "Okay, that's fine."

We talked more about things, and it turns out he and Kalias are getting along better than I thought. I'm happy that he's in Kalias's life but I don't want to get my hopes up and let my guard down fully because I fear he's gonna hurt Kalias.

"What time tomorrow?" I asked, he shrugged. "Around four so it gives you time to get ready and sleep as long as you want because you hate waking up early and you love to sleep." My eyes widened before a small grin formed, "And to think I thought you forgot." He leaned forward, our lips almost touching. "How could I ever forget one of the most important women in my life." His eyes flickered to my lips. I smirked before leaning in, connecting our lips softly. He was caught off guard by the act. I didn't give him time to kiss back before pulling away, "good night Ace." I rolled over.

I felt cold fingers brush against my side running over my stomach. My back was against his chest his head was on my shoulder. "Good night KaiLani." He said softly following a soft kiss placed on my cheek.
