Porchay is struggling to fall asleep tonight. Luckily, he can always talk to Kim—his boyfriend who is sleeping beside him.

One hour... Two hours... Three hours. Porchay doesn't know how long he was staring at the walls and the ceiling. It might have been one of those nights when he doesn't seem to be affected by sleepiness. What is he supposed to do in the middle of the night? Not much, really. Especially when his boyfriend is sleeping peacefully beside him.

Chay wanted to stand and walk around, just to tire himself out. However, he can't risk that. If Kim woke up and found out that Chay was not beside him, panic would instantly set in on him. It will surely give Kim a hard time to fall asleep again. Kim already had a long day today from shooting his new music video and he had an early meeting the following morning with Kinn. Chay doesn't want to disturb Kim's one and only opportunity for a good night's sleep.

Uncomfortably, Chay sighed. Perhaps he can just do what he usually does on nights like this—talk to his sleeping boyfriend. Talking and thinking will tire him out, eventually. He will fall asleep in no time. For now, Chay needs to yap himself out.

"Are you awake or asleep?" he mumbled. That was his usual line every time he checked on Kim. His boyfriend's eyes are closed and his mouth is quite ajar with soft snores escaping from his lips—clearly still deep in his sleep. He snuggled closer to Kim. Chay let out a deep sigh. "It's been 856 days since the day you said you love me, p'Kim. I can never forget that day. One of the best days of my life." he said and smiled.

Chay started to trace heart shapes on his lover's chest. He continued to talk, "I might look stupid talking to you again knowing that you are sleeping, p'Kim. I'm having problems falling asleep again. But it's okay, I can tell you things I am not allowed to tell you." Chay said. "Like p'Kinn's birthday. It's in two weeks, but Hia is still panicking about it. He doesn't know what surprise to do. He didn't want you to tell your brother anything, so he made me swear not to tell you anything. He doesn't want to give away the surprise—well, there's no surprise yet, but I'm sure you'll understand what I mean. That is, assuming you're conscious." he added, followed by a soft giggle.

Chay paused momentarily and looked up at Kim to see if he was still asleep. Yes, he was still sleeping. This time, Chay lay his head on Kim's chest, hearing its steady heartbeat in his ear. Given Chay's movements and talking, Kim must sleep so deeply that he doesn't wake up.

Chay clucked his lips before speaking again, "You know, Macau told me a secret. He will surely kill me if he finds out I told this to you." he said, then lifted his head to look at Kim. "Thank goodness, you are sleeping, babe," he said as he poked Kim's cheek with a finger before laying his head once more on his boyfriend's chest. "He loves your song. He may not show it, but he is a huge WIK fan. He even displayed one of your albums in his secret man cave. If I don't know him, I might think he is my archnemesis for being WIK's number one fan," he said and chuckled.

He remembered when he hung out with Macau and showed him his man cave—only a room connected to his bedroom. He saw the WIK's album displayed along his toy car collection. It was the odd one out and it was a funny sight to see. Macau made him swear not to tell him anything and they will keep it a secret. Chay did, he was a really good friend to Kim's cousin. Yet, there are times when Chay couldn't keep it to himself anymore; like what he just did, spilling it all out to his sleeping boyfriend.

The memory made him laugh loudly to himself. He instantly suppressed it by covering his mouth. He peeked at Kim who was still sleeping soundly. Chay sighed in relief and lay again. "I swear, your cousin will kill me if you knew that," he said.

Chay got silent, only the beating of Kim's heart entering his heart. It was like a soft lullaby in his ears, lulling him gently to sleep. Those are some of the things that will help him fall asleep. Chay listened to Kim's heartbeat, tapping his hand along every beat on his boyfriend's stomach. He started to hum along the beat. After hours of waiting for it, Chay finally yawned sleepily.

"You know I love you, right? So damn much, p'Kim." Chay whispered, cuddling closer to Kim. He could feel drowsiness kicking in his system, just as when he felt the arm around him tightened.

"Of course, I know that, baby." Kim's raspy voice replied.

Sleepiness instantly vanished from Chay's system once he heard his boyfriend's voice. He looked up at him, "You're awake?" he asked in shock. Kim blinks for a few moments—attempting to avert his eyes from the sleepiness—before nodding in response. Chay bit his bottom lip in guilt. Damn. He must have woken him up. He should stop being such a yapper, especially in times like this when Kim needs a rest. "For how long are you awake, p'Kim?" he asked.

Kim hummed before answering, "Since the 856 days part." He was still obviously groggy from sleeping, which only made Chay feel worse.

"You are awake this whole time..." Chay trailed off, embarrassed and guilty. He thought Kim had been asleep the entire time, so he spoke and said a lot. He tried to hide his face from Kim by burying his face in the crook of his boyfriend's neck. "I'm so sorry I woke you up, p'Kim. I know you are tired from work. I'm really sorry." he apologized.

Kim pulled away to look at his boyfriend's face. He chuckled at how pouty and guilty Chay's face was. "Oh my, baby. It's okay. You didn't wake me up." he said, kissing the younger's pouting lips.

"I didn't?" Chay asked, guilt still lingering in him. Kim nodded in response.

"Do you always talk to me when I am asleep?" Kim asked, brushing away the stray hair from Chay's eyes. His boyfriend nodded as an answer. "Why don't you wake me up? You know I will always listen to you, right?" he added as he intertwined his hand with Chay's hand lying on his stomach.

Chay shook his head, "I don't want to disturb your sleep. You've been so tired, p'Kim. You rarely had rest these past few days." he replied. "Also, what I told you were secrets," he grumbled in a low guilty tone. "You heard them, didn't you?" he pouted.

Kim nodded, "Yes, everything." then chuckled. Chay groaned, hiding his face once more. The older one laughed again before kissing his sulking boyfriend on the head. "I won't tell Kinn anything. As you said, there's no surprise yet. There's nothing to tell him, really." he teased, followed by another laugh. Kim continued, "But Macau..." he trailed off, then scoffed. "I never expected that from him. Ask him if he wants my autograph. I'm willing to give him one." he teased further and laughed loudly.

Chay looked at him stunned and slapped him on the chest, "That is so evil of you, p'Kim! Macau will be ballistic if he knew you knew that." he scolded him. "Please don't remind me of everything that I said. It was so humiliating. Gosh! I am such a yapper!" he grunted, face red in embarrassment.

"If you had more secrets of that evil cousin of mine, I would gladly know all of them," Kim said with a grin, saying that Chay knew what it meant.

"No! I won't tell you anything. I know you're going to blackmail Macau, p'Kim! You are so mean!" he whined, repeatedly hitting Kim on the chest.

Kim kissed Chay deeply, causing the hitting to stop. Once they pulled apart, he smirked, "I know, that's why you love me so much." He teased and kissed him again lovingly. Their lips separated once more. Kim stared at Chay intently. "The next time you are having trouble sleeping or need someone to talk to at night, you can always wake me up, baby. I'm willing to listen to you no matter how tired I am," he said.

Chay frowned, knowing that he would never do that. He would rather talk to himself than disturb Kim's rest. Still, he nodded since Kim was waiting for his answer. Suddenly, Chay yawned again. He is really sleepy at this point.

Kim kissed him on the forehead, "Let's sleep now, baby." he said, and Chay nodded in agreement. Drowsiness was kicking strongly in his system. The couple cuddled closer to each other and shared a couple of good night kisses.

Head on his lover's chest, Chay yawned again. "Good night, p'Kim. I love you..." he mumbled, his eyelids getting heavier by the second.

"I love you too, baby—856 days and more. See you in the morning," he replied, humming a soft lullaby, instantly making Chay fall asleep soundly.
