"Oberyn, please, for the love you feel for me, don't do this!" Ellaria called out as Oberyn's men herded her into one of the dungeon cells beneath the palace.

Oberyn looked at his former lover with a blank look in his eyes. He set Tyene free as soon as he caught Ellaria. His daughter wasn't stupid, after this incident she will think very carefully whether to try to do something similar again or rather not. It wasn't worth it to her, and it wasn't worth it to him to kill one of his offspring.

Ellaria cried, begged him, lamented. But he couldn't do the thing of letting her go free. Yes, now she might swear to him that she would never do anything again, but he didn't believe her. He had known her for so many years. He knew that she wouldn't stop, and would seek her revenge, which she would seek even through corpses. And now... now she was also willing to sacrifice their daughter.

"I don't know what kind of love you are talking about," he answered her coldly.

The love that he had felt for her some time ago suddenly disappeared. As if someone had put a spell on him that it disappeared overnight. It was her fault, actually. If she hadn't been constantly trying to get Joanna away from him, maybe... maybe there would still be some little bit of love in him. But now it wasn't even that little bit. Not a single drop of love for Ellaria was left in him.

He shifted his gaze to the man standing just a short distance away and nodded his head towards the door, signaling him to lock Ellaria in that cell. He had absolutely no desire to continue the conversation with her. Her actions last night spoke volumes.

"Oberyn, I'm begging you!" she urged him. Tears were streaming down her cheeks; her hands were shaking.

But when he heard her moaning, he just turned and left. His work here was done for now, he wanted to come there later. The man from his personal guard understood his departure and closed the door slowly but surely.

"Don't leave me, Oberyn Martell! I did it for us. Don't lock me in here, please."

I did it for us.

Even though anger was tearing through him, he didn't feel anything other than that, so something stirred in him at her words. That one particular sentence echoed in his head. She did it for them... No, she did it for herself. She did it for selfish reasons, he couldn't pretend otherwise because there was nothing else to it.

Ellaria's screams could still be heard behind Oberyn, but he tried to ignore them, even though he wanted so badly to turn and go back to her. He had to resist the feeling. It was not easy for him. For Gods' sake, it was the mother of his children. It was about a woman with whom they had experienced so much and with whom they had been together for so many countless years. And suddenly it was all gone. And now, she was with him as a prisoner. No one will miss her if they didn't consider their daughters.

He almost forgot about his youngest Loreza. His sunshine. How could he? With everything that has been going on around him lately, his youngest and sweetest daughter slipped completely out of his mind. And now that her mother is locked in a cell... he'd take her here to the palace. Yes, he would exactly do that. But first, he would have to tell Joanna about it. Actually, there was more to tell Joanna than just wanting his youngest daughter to live with them.

He had so many things to tell her that he didn't know which one to start with first. But he was aware that if he told her everything, she would at least be angry with him for a few days. He needed to make changes in this household of theirs that she might not agree with, but neither he nor even she had a choice.

"Why did you fire Ceria?" Joanna snapped at her husband.

Already in the morning, she felt strange that she didn't come to see her. Even more so when she was supposed to protect her at the same time and after what happened that night, she needed to have her with her. But no, Oberyn stepped in and simply fired Ceria.
