The weekend after the midterms arrived and Izuku was invited to Shinso's home for dinner. He was excited to go see how his friend lived and what his mother was like. But before that, he decided to stop by Asato's library to say hello. While they did talk on the phone, he did miss seeing her in person.

On the train, Izuku watched his phone carefully to see which stop he was supposed to get off at. He faintly remembered seeing some buildings as they passed from leaving the woods fully when he took the entrance exams. He got off the train and began following the indicator to Asato's library. He had decided to visit her first before going to Shinso's home. Once he got close, he could remember the area fairly well and put his phone away. He saw the library down the street and excitedly jogged to the front door.

He opened the doors quietly as he had done a hundred times before and walked in. Asato looked up from her desk to greet whoever came in and smiled brilliantly at seeing who it was. "Izuku! How wonderful to see you." She said softly and rounded the desk to hug him.

"Nice to see you too." Izuku hugged her back.

She pulled him an arm's length away to get a good look at him. "You haven't grown much but those horns are new."

Izuku beamed and tilted his head down slightly to show them off. "I grew them myself!"

Asato laughed and examined them. "Any particular reason why?"

Izuku nodded. "I wanted to match with Mina, plus if I didn't like them I could get rid of them." He shrugged.

"Ah, your girlfriend. You haven't done anything inappropriate, have you?" She asked teasingly.

Izuku tilted his head in confusion. "Like what?"

Asato chuckled and pulled him over to sit down at his old table. "Don't worry about it." She waved his concerns away. "Fill me in, how have you been?" She asked in a more motherly way.

Izuku did so, he told her about his time at UA and how he had made all his friends. How the teacher treated him. He told her about meeting with his old friend and his family. They spend roughly an hour talking about their time since Izuku had joined UA. By the end of it, Izuku had left with a brilliant smile on his face.

Instead of taking out his phone to find Shinso's home, he followed the well-trodden route to his old den. He found it easily and from there made his way to Shinso's backyard. He knocked on the front door and waited. He could hear some footsteps on the other side.

Shinso opened the door and smiled tiredly at his friend. "Come on in."

"Hi, Shinso!" Izuku beamed happily. He walked in after wiping his paws on the entrance rug.

He followed Shinso to the living room and sat down on the ground to save the furniture from destruction. His friend frowned for a moment at seeing why he did such a thing and remember why. He followed suit and sat on the ground with him. They talked for a bit about the upcoming camping trip and what they would need for supplies. Shinso asked how his relationship with Mina was going and Izuku happily told him about their time hanging out after school.

"So, this is the feral boy that lived in my backyard for a few years?" A woman's voice came from behind them.

Izuku turned and smiled brilliantly at seeing the mother of his friend. "Yep! That's me! I'm Izuku." He greeted her while standing up.

The woman had straight light purple hair with a lean figure. She stood about the same height as her son. She smiled warmly at the boys and introduced herself. "You can call me Kurata, it's very nice to finally meet you." She pulled Izuku into a tight hug, much to her son's embarrassment.
